I love the snow, just not when it time to drive back to Texas. LOL Can't wait to be a full timer in Colorado.
Driving through it to Colorado Springs today. It’s going to be annoying. I’d prefer the jeep(, but don’t like taking it to hotels when it can be avoided. Valet only from what I heard. I don’t let valets near my gladiator.
Middle stepson in Elizabeth said he has 2.5' so far and it's still coming down.
From what a friend between Denver and Colorado Springs told me, it’s record snowfall for November in that area. Last time it was similar was the mid 90’s.
Haven't heard from the oldest stepson outside of Bailey yet.
Meanwhile we just got a few inches on the other side of the divide.
Holy crap.Today I dodged a "bullet" of sorts.
Driving to work on the freeway the dually in front of me ran over a trailer hitch ball mount and flipped it up in the air heading straight for my passenger side windshield.
I swerved to the left and missed it. That thing would have done some severe damage.
The cars behind me swerved also but after a few cars a semi ran over it and sent it flying again but I lost sight of it.
WHEW!!!
That’s what I said. Fortunately I saw it fly up off the back wheels and was able to avoid it. That would have been a mess.
Yeah, imagine one of these rolling end over end in the air right in front of you at 75mph.
