Mine works just fine as well. Larger lift, and also 37’s.
Yeah, if the standard cruise control stills works, which @Dropkick didn’t specify, I’d probably rule out things like wheel speed sensors and steering wheel position. It’s likely a bad sensor in the unit behind the rearview mirror, blocked sensor, fuse related, etc.

lift and tire size shouldn’t return a dash error. It would just set the cruise speed at the “wrong” actual speed.

I'll try to make this short and to the point. It is wierd, but true:

Our 2021 JT Mojave has been flawless, knock on wood. But... we bought it brand new in 2021 and sometime in mid 2022 we got a 4WD malfunction dash light. So I took it to the dealer under warranty. The outcome was; "Damage not covered under warranty". It cost me almost $1,000 out of pocket to repair it. I asked them to show me what the problem was. I want to see the old parts...

It was the FAD wire harness. It had chew marks on it, like chew marks from an animal. The plug at the axle looked like a dog chew toy.

How we got there: My wife and I have a soft spot for animals. My wife brought home a couple stray dogs and we put them with food and water in a fenced area where we also keep the JTM parked. The stray dogs layed under the Jeep and chewed up the 4WD FAD plug and harness!

I could have bought the parts for a couple hundy and fixed it myself, but I never looked under the Jeep for bite mark damage! I was so concerned with 'new vehicle' issues that I passed it to the dealer.

Check before assuming. My mistake.

Be well. Jeep on.

My 2022 was my first ever vehicle with start/stop. The first time it cutoff at a red light I seriously had a panic attack my new Jeep with 20 miles on it died.
I can relate but with a car years earlier. I was heading up to one of our remote offices to replace and configure some network equipment. I was assigned a government car I had never driven before - a Honda (tiny, but I got the equipment packed into it)
I took off and hit the first stop sign and damn, the engine died. WTH? Let up on the brake and -huh? It restarted. It was my first time in a hybrid. Freaked me out at first- great, I'll barely get there and back in a day as it is and this thing keeps dying on me LOL.

Today I ran into a similar thing with my lawn tractor - SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK. What? I've greased everything, gone through all of the steering and pivot points (it's 4 wheel drive, 4 wheel steer, a ton of linkage and pivot points).
It only happened in part of the yard - each time I got close to a tree, a bird was yelling at me and it sounded like I had a bearing going bad.

We've gone way off track
but my '74 Honda Civic would die at a stop.
Start right up and run like a scalded dog
until the next stop and die.

The carburetor had come loose from the intake manifold. Stopping under low manifold pressure the weight of the air filter housing would tip the carb just enough to break the manifold vacuum. Under throttle the manifold vacuum would suck the carb tightly against the intake. Discovered it by accidentally tipping the air filter housing when I had the hood up.

For you youngsters out there,
a carburetor... never mind.

Not the Gladiator But my Mini Country man, I was chasing down a rattle that sounded like rear strut mounts (live on a dirt road) I took them out replaced them twice, tightened ever bolt, would shake the car, could not pin point where/what it was ... checked exhaust, adjusted the rear hatch, went on for 3 years
Finally my son was banging his hand against the bumper while sitting in the hatch ... There is the noise!!!!
It was road gravel stuck between the bumper cover and the inner structure!!!

When I was in college, a good friend and co-student drove a Chevy Luv.
We were in our final semesters of AUTO MACHANICS AND TECHNOLOGY - so that makes this even worse.......
We were taking off to a bar one day for lunch break. He mentioned while I was in the truck keep my ears open for a strange rattle and sound from the right side of the truck.
He had taken off door panels, searched all through the dash, and even took it to a Chevy shop and no one could find the noise.
From where I sat it seemed it was right there with me and I had an idea that was ridiculously simple and silly. Can't be - he's been all through it, a shop even checked it out.
I told him to pull over, I got out and reached under the seat and pulled out a pop can.
Problem solved.

Man comes to the Jaguar shop
where I was working.
Complains of a squeaking noise.
Gets his briefcase out of the backseat
and goes on to work.
(Don't get ahead of me. I like telling it.)

Mechanic tells him he can't hear a squeak.
Comes back next day
and the day after that.
Mechanic stops him as he is trying to leave
and rubs the Italian leather briefcase
on the Connolly leather Jaguar upholstery.
Squeak, squeak.

That's why Chrysler used Corinthian leather?

Right.
Except there was never any such thing
as Corinthian Leather.
It was a made up word
by the Chrysler ad agency people.
It also sounded luscious
when Ricardo Montalban
said it in the TV commercials.

A marketing term, like so many others (check out the "beauty" crap on TV and their buzzwords) it worked..

It made you think of luxury, rich, expensive leather.

I guess Italian leather comes from Italians - mafia victims?

But seriously, a similar thing - it simply means country of origin and there's no control over how it's done, and so on. But you hope it's going to be of a bit higher quality than Texas boot leather.

More control over the Connolly leather from a single British source/company that specializes in high end leather products. (I believer they may also do aircraft leather seats and and such? Higher-end products less mass-produced)
