Was down in the 19s but pretty much all city driving super short 1-2 mile trips for the past couple months. Was a little worried as i also have a noise upfront thinking it was brake dragging. Took a 400 mile round trip and back in the 22s. Also think my sound now I think is something to do with the airbox, replaced the filter a month or so ago and think its just a leak occurring when the RPMs drop.

Stock 22 JTRD Hard Top, with BakFlip bed cover, Mixed daily driving averaging 22mpgs running 80+mph (a lot of sprints on the speed limiter) on the interstate to work 24 miles one way. 20ish mpgs with a small 3Klb 6x8 Home Depot utility trailer in tow. The best I've seen is 30mpgs cruising on the interstate at 68mph. In the western Virginia Mountains I averaged 25-26 during a weekend trip. Hotshots EDT every tank, 16,750 on the odometer.

I'm seeing 16.9 on the dash with the Mopar lift and Nitto RG 35s. This is 95% city driving. Speedo is calibrated with a Tazer.
Not surprised if you are 95% city with larger than stock tires. Especially if the city mileage is of the stop and go variety. My overall average (~18k fuelly tracked miles) is right at 23mpg with around a 60/40 highway to city mix, however I have done a decent amount of towing as well to bring that average down. Normally I see mid to high 20s on the highway, depending on the wind, and low 20s to high teens in town, depending on how much stop and go. I’m riding on 285/70 KO2s with aftermarket rims that have some poke and no lift, so a pretty average setup, not optimal for fuel efficiency but not totally detrimental either.

If I do just city driving (stop and go, shitty times), on winter fuel, it's 17mpg.

Highway Only is about 22-23 35" // tires 2" lift

Winter Fuel isn't the best... The formulation although reduces gellin, it does impact MPG.

People that get 27+ are on itty bitty tires and drive like grandma.

Expect 19MPG on 35" tires as a mixed highway / city driver, maybe 20 if you are more highway than city....

If on stock wheels and tires, expect a mix of 23MPG, all highway maybe 25MPG

My worst was towing my trailer (4000lbs) in the mountains 14mpg.

Forgot to account for the winter mix as well. I saw a 2mpg drop on winter mix. Will see better mileage now as the better fuel becomes available.

My worst MPG's are during a regen cycle, 17 to 19 in combined driving.

the ecodiesel is picky on throttle it seems. if i realy care about my mileage i can go down the highway at 70+ and still get 27+mpg. but it takes practice. with cruise i get 22-24. if i had to remote start to warm up (colorado) looking closer to 21mpg with cruise.

my method for best mpg: get up to speed like you mean it. after you are at the speed you want, take your foot fully off the accelerator. then put your foot back on with the slightest pressure. just enough to maintain speed. do this over and over again if you lose speed.

if you are in regen or if there is a headwind give up on getting good mpg.

Right now I'm averaging 17.8ish on 37" Toyo RT's. but I'm 80% dense city driving and lots of short trips. When I get on the highway I can get it up to 22ish. Also when I only leave the house for the gym daily (3.7 miles each way) for a few days, my mileage gets into the mid 16's.

I have not adjusted for tire size yet, and I do run hotshots at every fill. I'm at 9k miles so far, not sure if mileage is going to get better or if I'm fully broken in.

I'm ranging between low 18 and mid 19s mpg. A lot of that has to do with if my hubs are locked.

4.88 gears and 39's

Take off put the shifter in M and bump it until you hit 8th. Try to anticipate hills and go to 7th with mid throttle (high boost) then immediately back into 8th. If you let it shift manually it will drop to 5th every little hill.
