Just purchased a 2024 Anvil Gray Gladiator Rubicon with almost everything on it. Window MSRP was $69,125. With 20% off and dealer discount, the price was around 47,500. With Taxes and dealer mystery fees I was out the door for $51k.

Super happy with it!

This weekend, I got a price quote on a Sport S with Max Tow. The price looked good with all the discounts until I had them run the numbers. $51k MSRP with the factory discounts came out to $43k and change. Then the dealership starts trying to hide all kinds of other charges and add-ons hoping I wouldn't notice. The total of the payments came out to $72k!!!! WTF. I laughed and moved on. It's no wonder Jeep is in trouble if the dealers just continue to try to fleece people like this.

Total payments as much about terms of loan as cost of truck
A 43k truck on an 84 month loan at 10% is much different than a cash buyer.

I bought in dec. And as a tier 1 buyer the rate offered was too high for me (5%) so I paid cash. A tier 2/3 buyer might pay 20k in interest on a 7 year note

I'm a tier 1 credit customer. The deal they offered was a joke. I didn't even bother to try and negotiate because it was so ridiculous. But you're right, I wouldn't even accept 5%. I'm guessing the number they quoted was probably around 10% which is insane. I got a 0.9% on my daughter's new car and even that I was kind of like..."eh"...

Dealer supported rates can be less than 2% now. But most are in place of cash discounts. 20% or 0% financing for example. A great rate now is around 5% which adds costs. 8k over 7 years. That doesn't include taxes or reg fees if you were saying 43k pre those costs.

Take 43k. Add 7% sales tax. 9% rate. And you are at 62k. So that 72k still.seems high.

With all the craziness in pricing and steep discounts in order to clear Gladi's off the lots, I'm curious what people are spending in the real world. Looking primarily for Sport S' w/ max tow but anything will be helpful.

The buyout on my lease is gonna end up being way high ($32.5k for 2021 Willy's) and am curious how much I can bring them down for a new Sport S to purchase

I just purchased one yesterday, $68,xxx,xx The factory gives a 20% discount and the seller gives whatever they want to make the deal. $52,985.00
I already have a 2024 RubiconX purchased last August 2024. list $70,235.00, buy price $60,000.00
We are keeping both his and hers,
Love the power seats.

Yeah that's some major BS. My dealer has thankfully always been above board, crystal clear on their doc fees and add ons which aren't terrible. I don't mind people making money as long as its honest.

I just got a quote on a Mojave today in Alaska.

$62,210 MSRP
$3,663 Dealer discount
$500 Military discount
$12,442 20% Stellantis
————-————-
$45,605 price
+ 500 Dealer fees and registration (AK is great on that!)
————————
$46,105 total OTD

I walked away from the deal, because my math shows the dealer is only putting 5.8% into the deal. I’m thinking there is another $2,000 to be had.
What am I missing?

Exactly how I feel. I think once Jeep started offering the 20% the dealers started lowering their discounts. I'm pretty sure I remember a few months ago some dealers giving around 8k off on a mojave/rubicon trim level before any manufacturer incentives. The 2025s have around a 10% discount to start with the lower MSRP. I think the a 24 should be at least 30% off now and I think some people got even a little more.

My area Fl.is running out of '24 mojave and rubicon. A month ago there were over 200 in a 50 mile area. 23 reported today.
Wonder how much longer the discounts will continue

There will always be those last few that dealers refuse to sell at any discount. Like the new 2023 diesel rubi still on a lot at msrp. They know what they got ;)

These deals are too good pass up. My 2024 Rubicon X with MSRP of $68,710 was 31.5% off and only required an additional $899 for Docs/License and my state's Sales Tax. They delivered it +400 miles for free and we did paperwork at my kitchen table in approximately 20 minutes. Nice touch of leaving me with a full tank of gas.
