Whats with the package add ons ?

So i build a Willys on the web site, pick my options, drive train etc. Get the dealer to look it over and they add in a 26W package to the tune if $6k. So the web site is shite? It shows the base price for each model, but theres a unknown charge not being shown?? WTF?? $6k is a significant upcharge. Already getting raped on the diesel option....so building on the website is a joke then...

I believe that charge is what makes it a Willys and not just a sport. Look at base price. If its 33k then that's just the sport model, that 6k would make it a base Willys

Well the base Willys lists for $39k and change. So why is an EXTRA $6k added, if the base is already a Willys? Im confused and pissed that a $45k build just went to $51k

Do you still have an option to print out the build list on the site? That's what I did and took it to the dealer. He followed that to a t and the price came out the same as on the build site.

Yep, sent the pdf version from the site. Get a price quote to show if any discounts and watnot, and the is the 26W. I was pretty floored

So i went and looked at the two builds i did...one was a Willys Sport and the package was only $1975 or something...getting more confused. Oh well...it is what it is. So you always start with a Sport then add to it?

Ok, so I looked at the web and it appears 26W is a Quick Order Package specific to the Turbo Diesel willys model. Sometimes when you build on the web you may get caught up in a "package order" and not know it because you have identified a particular item(s) listed on the list below. Check your build sheet and see if any of the options you chose are on this list and, if so, then this is probably what predicated the up-charge. Take a look at the dealers listed on this forum for a list of dealers recommended by our viewers as the one you were at should have told you why the up-charge was there.

i did, interior touch screen, not many upgrades avail, only two top choices...si the destination fee is always an add on to the base price, and should be already in the MSRP or invoice...explain please. Im gettin my dam Jeep, just gotta pick the forum dealer closest to me
