When headlights just aren’t enough

I finally got all my lights wired up, so this morning when I realized I forgot to put the trash out and had to run down, back the JTR out and put out the can, I grabbed a few pictures. No lights, normal headlights, Rigid brushbar 10” light, and Rigid dual 3” cubes on the cowl (floods outboard and spots inboard).

Must be nice living somewhere you don't get hassled for aux. lighting haha. I swear VA is the most driver-unfriendly state. I'm going to have a 20" BD OnX6+ on my bumper later this year but I know I'll need a cover to roll around with or end up with a ticket even if it's not on.

Mines coming. I'll probably end up with a set of cannons on the front of mine like I had on the JKU when I decide what bumper. They were plenty enough, 3/4 miles of distance.

Lol, unfortunately I am starting to be plagued with “old man vision” and one of the only cures is more light. These work great, but only off road. If you see them blazing on a main road, call the cops. It’s either been stolen or it’s the zombie apocalypse.

No night pictures on my phone, because the camera just can't capture it, but:

2x Rigid D-SS white spots (inboard cowl)
2x Rigid Amber spots (outboard cowl)
2x Rigid white SAE fogs on stock switch/harness (inboard bumper)
2x Rigid amber driving (outboard bumper)
1x 20" Rigid white hyperspot (center bumper)

With factory LED package. It's...bright. I wanted complementing lights that covered all sectors, distances and conditions, and they work great together.

Hi guys ! Could I get your input on cowl lights facing outward to the sides. Im putting dual pods on each side of the cowl. Amber facing forward forsure, but I can’t decide if I want amber or white facing to the sides . I live in Vegas so desert is my main traveling. Probably will make trips Up to Oregan and Washington once a year. I know amber cuts through dust/fog/snow better. But for the sides I’m not sure it’s as much of an issue. Id like them both amber looks wise but I care more about function and use of light. Opinions/experiences appreciated. They’re Amazon combo beams. 50 bucks for 2. Holding me over until I get some Baja Squadron Pros later. But work very well for the price I was very surprised.

Those look nice, do they have a drl in them? I got a round set that have the same logo and have a drl which is kind of cool imo. Not as bright as it may appear in the photo

Yea they have the DRL and also a Strobe feature. 4 wires total but I only have the main and strobe wired. The little leds on the sides strobe or can be DRL or even turn signal depending how you wire it. I seen the ones you have they’re LP9 replicas it seems and they have 5 and 7 inch. Same manufacturer as mine judging by the logo. I was debating between some of those or these. These just were cheaper and smaller, 4 for 100 after I return the set I don’t need. They also throw similar to the Squadron so that’s why I chose these to hold me down until work picks back up.

"Traditional" KCs in LED. And I used an amber laminex film for them. Wonderful in dark canyons.

I really want one of those giant stupid KC light bars....but I wonder about glare on my hood.
I convince myself it's a vanity buy and then do other things with the $2100.
