I too feel blessed. I also had my Prius before my Gladiator, and at first glance, they seem like an odd couple. Actually, this is my second Prius, which had over 300K miles on it before i traded it in for a new one. It's a perfect commuter car. The Gladiator will be more of a work Truck, I'm getting my Western snow plow installed a week from today, helping me with my tree maintenance obligations. Then my wife has a hybrid Camry which we take on long trips, its much more comfortable on long trips. Our second vehicle, which predated the Gladiator, is a Prius. It's my wife's "dream car"...the Gladiator is mine. We daily drive our own vehicles, but look at "mission requirements" for longer trips. Prius won't tow our RV, so that trumps those missions...Prius is soooo economical for road trips that just transport two bodies (plus dog) and luggage.
It's a blessing to have vehicles we both love individually, and have such different capabilities. The "carbon footprint" averages out to the more mainstream rides we both drove before.
