Cadillacs and Chevy trucks allow you to turn on the backrest heat w/o the seat heat. My last job was powertrain calibration in GM trucks and I didn't go a day w/o using those! :)

That's what I loved about my 2011 Silverado I had before the JT - the ability to use only the back.
And it's why my wife doesn't use the "seat heat" as she calls it in either of our Jeeps - can't choose, it's both or none. She doesn't want her butt hot while trying to relax back muscles.

Ok, I just want to know, am I the only one that turns on the heated seats, even when it's warm out, on days that my back hurts?
I've been doing this since I had a Subaru with heated seats.

It was triple black and my back hurt from Muay Thai. Even though it was 90 degrees out the first time I turned them on it was like a lightbulb going off

LOVE my butt toasters    Yes, when it's cold out a warm seat is very nice.

Even in summer, when my back is hurting I'll turn on my butt toaster and it really helps ease my back pain(s).

Often! Wouldn't want a vehicle that didn't have them! Back when we got our first Subaru that had them, I immediately bought a set of heated seat covers (Wet Okole) for my LJ!
How do you like the heated Wet Okole's? I was thinking of the same for our LJ after going through some cheapo heated seats. Are they hard wired or do they plug-in for power? I had non-heated Wet Okole's on my Taco and definitely worth the extra $.

They're plug ins, one for each seat. I wasn't a fan of just how the wires connected with the controllers, but they sure felt nice!

Muay Thai is some crazy crap!
I was a competitive Western Martial Artist for years. No 'Dog Brothers' but did my share of singlestick and full armour.

okay I am glad I am not the only one! I have chronic back pain so I use the seats a lot.

If they had massage feature I probably would never leave the truck.

Hell yes. I love the fact that you can set low, medium and high in the Gladiator. My wife used the ones in the Grand all the time. I added heaters ion my JK and they are really nice after being outside in the rain when wheeling. There was no way I was getting a JT without them.

This is the one option that my JT doesn’t have. However I am going to have heated seats installed this fall in the front and back by my local upholstery shop.
