The little thingamajig that let's you know in real time what the fuel mileage is that you're currently getting has changed how I drive lol. Well, for the past few weeks anyway. I wanted to see how high I could get it. Was surprised when I saw 23MPH... Before I started paying attention I was getting like 16-18.
I was out on back roads in upstate New York in the Adirondack Mountains and this was my gas mileage. 50% AC on 50% AC off.
What are you guys getting on average?

Did you reset it at that tank's fill?

My range plus miles driven on this tank indicate I could see 440 miles on the tank.

If I was tracking just part of a tank like you have there, I have done 23+ at times, but I only go by the average for the whole tank, not what I got driving 100 miles.
With my stock tires, mine did 23 pretty easily. The A/T tires have dropped that down to 21 typical now.

Speed is a huge factor in these. If driving 55-60 I can do 22 all day.

Mojave 6mt on 35s at +6 with stock gearing. Doors off as often as possible and a sunrider open just for that extra air brake effect. 14-15 normal commuting (50 mph road with a lot of red lights and traffic) 17 if I get on the highway and stick to 65mph.

Tires are stock, I did not reset.

I miss my ecodiesel. 25-28 mpg with 37” tires. With little tires best of 32 on a 420 miles round trip.

Here’s how the other side lives. And it’s nasty. Mountains, highway speeds, lift, tires, 5.13:1 gears. I cry at night

What changed? Better fuel? Driving habits and traffic?
Way less stop and go traffic

I moved from a pretty centralized location with everything around and lots of traffic to a little bit of a remote location, so I have to drive longer distances to get to places

20-21 if I keep it below 65 with doors/tops on. 18 when naked. Stock 6-speed 2020 JTR. BTW, the mpg shown on the dash is consistently 3%-5% higher than calculated.

I wish I could hide that part of the Grand Cherokee cluster - makes my wife drive like an old lady trying to hit 27 mpg. She's hit 26 before and then she got upset when traffic made her have to change driving patterns and it dropped back to 25.5 mpg.
I've told her, carefully, of course just drive the damn thing but no............. it's a matter of pride.
