1st world problems, I know. But seriously, power windows with only auto down feature? I’d argue, I use auto-up more than I do auto-down. I rarely roll a window fully down. But when I want to close a window, I’m usually shutting it completely.

Welcome to it. JK never had it either. It's probably due to no pinch protection and all the bulk and complexity that brings.

I don’t know if any auto maker has that window auto up feature I think it’s because of trapping kids or anything else in the window when the window is going up and not having the window auto up feature prevents that from happening

My 2014 toyota sienna has auto up on it and it is designed to drive kids, lol. I always thought the same thing till I got that car.

I drive a Ford Explorer for work and it has it. Like you said, I don’t think a lot of makers have the feature at the moment. But man is it nice to one click close your window. My overland has all the bells and whistles, so I was a little shocked it didn’t have it. Not a big deal. 1st world problems lol

I was wondering the same thing the other day. My F150 has the auto up, but the JTR does not. I assume it is a safety feature because some one got a body part pinched.

I have been wondering if I could just swap the wires for up and down on the back of the switch and have auto-up. One day when I get around to pulling the door panel I may try it. My 2014 Charger has it and I'm always trying to use it on the Jeep.

Ive always thought to buy a second switch pack and do a little grafting. Way back I read a jk post where the switch was assembled wrong and the auto down was on a rear window.

Id also except a 1 button auto down for all 4.

That doesn't look too terribly bad. I may give it a go when it warms up a bit.

I am not a fan of auto up or down. I like to have the control over the window as much as posable. I don't see how it is a problem to hold a switch for 3 sec.
