Your Gladiator will have no problem towing this TT. I have the sister to this trailer, built by Rpod but looks nearly identical. Mine is 3,800lbs dry and I estimate i’m at around 4,800lbs loaded. At this weight, I dont run a WDH but I did install air bags to help with the sag. But my rpod does have independent suspension, so it will tow more comfortably than this nobo with solid axle.

Airlift 1000, only inflated to 15psi. It doesnt get rid of the sag completely, but a little sag is alright.

So you have the R Pod 192? Are you towing with a Mojave or another model? Looking at a 2024 R Pod 192 Beast Mode and would love any updates here. Looking to make it a full-time rig with my Mojave for around a year or so and plan on putting a lot of miles in, but just not sure if I need to be looking at something smaller.

I would tow it if I had to. I probably wouldn't purchase a camper that is right at the vehicle's max tow capacity though. By the time you get camper outfiited and loaded with essentials, you will be over weight.

Plan on driving slower. I have a friend with a Highlander and purchased a camper rated at the max tow capacity (4800lbs camper, 5000lbs tow capacity). $36k for the camper and now trying to sell it to buy a smaller camper that the Highlander can pull without having a white knuckle experience. My friend has never towed anything before and was going off of the camper salesman word. Salesman nor my friend took in account for the gear and personal items. I think you are going to get pretty close to max capacity.

Another thing to consider is the distance you are going to haul the camper. If you plan on doing cross country trips, you may find a smaller camper to be easier to set up and take down as well as haul down the highway.

I would tow it with my 12 yr old Duramax over my JT, just to avoid the stress on me and on the JT.

I’ve seen this trailer being towed by a Gladiator around here.

I will tell you that trailer specs are ALWAYS WRONG! The weights are with a stripped down model without things like propane, water or any options that may be available. If you have one locally I would suggest you let the salesman let you get it weighed. It will surprise you. Also, most people figure adding between 500 to 1000#’s to the trailers weight to figure your actual towing weight.

Vehicle tow capacities are always optimistic (flat ground, sea level, cool and dense air) and trailer specs are always optimistic (dry weight). In my opinion, you put them together and you should be looking at a trailer that's maybe 60% of the stated capacity.

The same is true of motorcycles, the published weight is "dry" meaning no fuel, coolant, oil, brake pads, or even tires to try to make that number look good.

Yes, towing a beast mode 192 with a stock Mojave(well, I added air bags to decrease the squat and installed the Mopar trailer brake controller). The independent suspension of the Beast Mode makes for a really smooth towing experience.
