So please educate me..

What would these particular AutoLynx be ideal for? I'm worried they may leak air after a while, and I like how someone pointed out how the video only shows at high speeds.

Cheers.

i prefer the simplicity of the autolynx, as I don't need anything more than on/off for my tastes...

But that price? 40% cheaper than autolynx?

I'm already an autolynx owner, and very happy with the product. Nothing here to make me switch, but to new buyers with on-board air already, i'd take the savings.
Did you have any problems installing them on your Mojave?

The lynx went in at an angle i wasn't quite fond of, and getting the factory links out was extremely frustrating but not difficult (20-30 degree boxed end wrench turns at a time). As for the install angle, I called Apex and they told me it was perfectly fine, and not to worry, BUT if really didn't like it they sold a dirt cheap washer kit to make them fit more straight up and down, however they didn't advise it's usage, and only sold it because despite guidance there was a demand.

Ordered these on a Tuesday and they arrived 4 days later on Saturday. Packaging was nice (no pics) and the product quality appearance is clearly top notch. Instructions were clear. I had previously confirmed with Apex that they would work with my 4" lift. However, with an extended length of 8 1/2" for the airLYNX , I figured the angle of my sway bar would likely be slightly angled downward.

I tracked down a couple things I needed for the install; a 12mm bolt (since I discarded one of the factory lower link bolts; I don't know why. I usually keep extra hardware in case of a MacGyver situation), as well as a 300+ PSI shock pump (I'm sure I have one but just couldn't find it after the move).

Started the install this last Saturday. This is the Metal Cloak quick disco's in place measured at about 12 1/4" center-to-center:

I placed the airLYNX in position and found they would place the sway bar in a parallel position in relation to the frame:

I wanted a little bit more upward angle and had a set of Synergy sway bar link relocation brackets that I bought when I was headed in a different direction with my lift, initially. Now the sway bar sits at a better angle for my liking, about 15-ish degrees:

As mentioned, my lift sits at 4" (Metal Cloak 3.5"). I imagine someone with a 2.5" actually lift would be in the right ballpark with only adding the airLYNX to the stock sway bar axle connection. However, if one likes their sway bar more parallel to the frame, then these would be good to around a 4" actual lift.

I have not had a chance to review offroad yet, but on for on road handling, I can't tell any difference from the solid links I had on before. I pumped mine up to 300 psi, sort of. I say sort of, because the zero loss pump I purchased still lost a small amount of air when I unscrewed the fitting from the valve stem on the airLYNX. They don't hold a lot of air, volume-wise. I estimate they are somewhere slightly over 250psi, and Apex says they need a minimum of 150psi on the street. I was testing them on the bench with my regular shop compressor and tire fill and at 80 PSI, upon disconnecting the air chuck, I measured 50PSI with my gauge, so they lost about 30psi.

That's all I have for now.

Does it take much time to pump them up?
What pump did you get?
Nah... maybe 30 seconds with the pump I bought. Of course it depends on how fast you pump...

I never got a response from Apex, so my assumption is they don't like Canadians :-(

I'm curious what the vehicle will respond like at 150psi. If you have to make an evasive maneuver at highway speeds, will they support that?

Good question. Mine are set to max (300 psi) and cornering seems the same in comparison to the MC links I removed. I am certainly not feeling any more body roll than before. However, I have not tested under highway speeds that necessitate an evasive maneuver. Time will tell.

I think this is a great idea. If that happens, I'll put these on my stock rubicon.
I'm confused.....Why would a person need "lockout" on a Rubi with a disconnecting sway bar?

The point of the AirLynx is to provide an infinitely adjustable multi rate car scenario which is perfect for a Rubi......Will soften up the ride on the small chop both on and off road.

They will also work really well for other models without a disconnect bar allowing more travel than the OE links and still provide that softer ride over small chop. For the people that are more concerned with maximum travel/flex off road, the AutoLynx might be the better choice?

Sometimes, my speed of travel off road exceeds the disconnect limit.
I could probably just use jscan, but I like the physical aspect of it dialing it like on a mountain bike shock. Locked out, soft, unlocked.
On road, I never need it to be anything else than locked out.

I'm considering these. I had the Auto Lynx on my Wrangler and loved them for complete disconnecting. I now have a Mojave and don't really like playing on the rocks and like driving faster off road. In Utah, we have both kinds of off roading. Anyone have any longer term updates?
