Anyone note any family resemblance between these and the JT?

I agree Bill, I also have been looking for this model Jeep truck, one of my favorite. Just missed getting one tha was donated to our local high school auto shop program.

I remember seeing a JT for the first time, and just didn’t get it. I was operating under certain impressions/biases that I didn’t even know were there. Always wanted a JL and when it was recently time to let go of my 269k/mi truck, the JT would give me a bit of both worlds. Wasn’t until I was seriously shopping, learning about and appreciating the details of the JT that I just fell in love with it. It was perfect for me and what I wanted in a vehicle.

Ive had one person say they didn’t think it was practical (hahaha), and one of my kids thought it was ugly when they first heard I was getting one. They have since come around and love it. But, that’s alright. It gets lots of positive attention, I have lots of fellow Jeepers waving and smiling, and every trip to the store is an adventure with the doors and roof off.

It’s my truck and couldn’t be happier.

Have a 'project' 48 like that sitting in my garage. Hope to get a side by side pic soon. Neither the original 'Jeep' Truck (yeah it is in quotes on the badge) or the Gladiator is on on my list of ugly Jeeps in my family. The CJ-10 and M677 get those honors.

love my jt, i think they look cool as hell (in most angles). there are lifted ones with huge tires, lifts, and the works; they look cooler.

but what do i know, i had a 2017 ridgeline before this...

Gladiator has character. You see 1000 pickups a day and really don't notice any of them. See a Gladiator and you notice/remember it.
