Good platform for a rescue squad truck. It may idle some but not even half as much as a patrol vehicle. Wonder where they got the bed done at or if they had their own shop do it.

No, no. . It's owned by the Malibu CA PD.

I hear they ripped out the engine, installed batteries and E-axles. No tick. That big box in back is where all the batteries go.
