I got my drive shaft in late tonight via ups. Pulled the old one out but broke 3 bolts off at the pinion yoke. Went and got some “heat” from Home Depot and was able to get them out. Gah. Install wasn’t much fun but definitely happy when I opened the package and there was bolts ready to go.
Honestly, I’m not happy with the design of the driveshaft but dammz… those bolts that hold the driveshaft to the yikes are way way way too soft IMO. I’ll be upgrading to a heavy duty driveshaft sooner than later.

Finally after almost 2 months of waiting, Warn Epic Diamondcutters in black are on! 27lbs per wheel exactly and the stock Mojaves are 25.8lbs, no real hit there. They look great and I love the 0 offset with my flare extensions.

your sugar holder accessory is awesome !
That's what that is for! I finally figured out what the space between the cup holders is for... It fits my McDonalds hash brown perfectly. Dam if Jeep engineers didn't think of everything!

Money and time… as of this coming Monday I’ve been home for 4 weeks… I was supposed to go to work this past week but plans changed when I ripped out my exhaust and damaged my driveshaft …
But yeah… money… a aftermarket driveshaft that’s a 2 piece that’s available is over $1500… I got an oem shipped for $630.

Like every other review I read on the roll-n-locks they are damaged in shipping. Smh
Every tonneau cover or jeep top I've ordered comes with a destroyed box and partially damaged item. FedEx and UPS does not know how to handle large items.

I'll try to install a Steer Smarts Track Bar Reinforcement/Sector Shaft Brace tomorrow.
I have those in mine. They’re really solid. It shouldn’t be a terrible install. But they’re all a little terrible. :)

Got a buddy that works for UPS…he told me to pack anything anticipating it will take a 6 foot drop. A lot of those guys are overworked, but ffs please be nice to our stuff.

I feel for those workers and all overworked essential workers but yes, be gentle with the goods. I worked for FedEx way back when unloading the trucks and let's just say one worker didn't give one sh$$ about the packages.

Are my radio geek panties showing? And why are underwear called pairs anyways?

Mounted it up front, non-US style because I want it to work better than reflecting signal off that almost vertical windshield frame. It was either up there or in the back by the tailgate. No roof options in Jeeps.

If you guys know radios you’ll know why it’s up front. Aussies would mount their HF antennas off the brush guard. Anyways, let’s see if it doesn’t drive me crazy. I can move it back.

And Mike hanger came in. This is a almost no holes drilled install. I drilled one on the inside portion of that tray to thread the control cable out of the dash. Not a fan of pinching control cable wires. And it’s out of view.

Bulletpoint tray in route. The antenna mount is the 1/2 hole one I had to drill out forthe UHF mount.

Radio is a dual band 2m/440/commercial (yes I’m a ham since 1995) with GMRS punched in. Easy instal. There’s a neat space under the steering wheel and 2 bolt holes conveniently there to use.
I’ll wrap it up tomorrow. Thinking of a better power distribution method off battery.

Love the antenna location, that’s where mine is mounted as well for the same reasons.
