When I first got my JT almost 2 years ago, there was slight wind noise from the driver side door. That's somehow worked itself out. The loudest noise for me now is easily the tires. They're Rubi take-offs, but they haven't worn evenly so they ride rough and are pretty loud. I'll be replacing them before the end of the year, but the best deal I'm seeing by far is on Duratracs which I understand run on the louder side for ATs. So we'll see how much quieter they'll get. At least the ride will be smoother.

How? What'd they do. I might bring it up at oil change time. I'm out of jeep waves though, so I was going to do the next one myself.
It was under the bumper to bumper warranty. I just told him about cold air blowing through, and they installed an insulation kit in the a pillar

Interesting, what is an "insulation kit", I may go for that route...its definately at the top of the drivers A-pillar, cant get my hand in there to feel it at speed, its coming from between the roll bar and the windshield, pressurized air noise.....

Tires for sure, the crappy stock Mojave AT tires are LOUD and only at 20k miles. I’ll be swapping them onto my teenage son’s Pathfinder soon and upgrading to BFG AT, which in my experience stay pretty quiet as they wear. Second for me is definitely the hard top, I rode in a friend’s JKU Rubicon with hard top liners and the difference in top notice was pronounced. I expect some noise in a brick with wheels that can be taken apart with basic hand tools, but I’ll happily reduce it where I can.

Links are always good. So thank you.

But my assessment of the A-pillar noise is not like there is a window open or a leak. Its also not a whistle or anything like that. Its a low pitched sound of wind rushing around the outside of the pillar/roof junction area.

Its just the sound of the air going by outside the truck. Like mirror noise, but up higher. Also, mine is s 2022. So it should have that foam installed in the windshield frame by the factory.

Cool. I'll do the same. Still under bumper to bumper

Retired and loving it
Today while driving my JT on about a 100-mile journey mostly over freeway roads. I pondered and let my mind wander since I had my hearing aids in. I was listening to see where I thought the most noise was coming from in the JT. I drive a Sport S. Max on Rubi take-off AT tires and I have a Premium soft top. Now I know the JT is a bit noisier than when I had my hard top on with no headliners but it's not that much noisier. After just driving and trying to listen all around and place where sounds were coming from my conclusion and actually the same from my wife was that most of the noise heard was coming from underneath road noise and the tires by a large margin. I had been thinking maybe down the line to switch out my current flooring with the Armorlite flooring (I sure wish it would have been a factory option. But will wait a bit to save up some money as I just splurged on a couple of soft doors for my front doors and Lange Coyote mirrors.

Was just curious where others feel they are hearing the most noise originate from in their JT. I suppose a change in tires would help some also. But that won't happen till I wear these out.
So I just returned from a 2400 mile round trip from NM to MN and back. I agree with you. By far my Yokohama MT’s are responsible for the vast majority of the interior noise.

But I’m not complaining as the benefits of performance and looks more than outweigh the drawback of road noise. I plan to replace them with the same when they wear out.

Most annoying is the wind noise coming from the top of both front doors, very poor gasket seals on both sides.

Second is the vibration in the overhead sound bar. Something is vibrating in/on there when the stereo is on even at low volume. If I push up slightly on the bar, it goes away.

Haven’t had time to address either yet but they’re both driving me crazy.
Tighten the bolts holding the sound bar. Quick and easy fix. Noticed this on the wifes Sahara. Her new JL had loose bolts when I was doing some mods. Maybe a little locktie to keep em snug.
