Great chart, but many of those specified ODs (outer diameter) are lies. I assume they all quote optimistic weights too

I saw your chart wanted an 8.5” wheel for the Mickey Baja Boss AT, but I checked again on their site and it’s range is 8.0-11.0”.

There are many solid choices in the 37x12.50R-17 size with many members sharing their personal experiences.

Keep in mind all tires are a product of compromise which means there is no one tire that scores a 5 out of 5 in all situations. It is best to focus on what attributes are most important for the area you drive in.

If we can help in any way please let us know.

I got Kanati Trail Hogs in a 37 12.5 17 and they have right at 25,000 miles on them and are wearing great. Still got 75% of the tread left on them. I'll probably end up getting at least 50,000 miles out of them and that's on a 4 tire rotation. They are at least as quiet as my BFG KO2s were but they measure bigger. Mounted they measure 36.4 at 34psi. I'll buy another set when these wear out. They are better in the rain than the BFGs and the Goodyear MTRs I had previously. Honestly probably the best tire I've ever ran and that includes Yokohama's, Nittos , Toyo's, and General Grabbers at sometime or the other. Only bad thing is it's hard to find a local dealer. I bought mine from a guy off Marketplace for $1000, brand new last October.

That's a shining review. These are in the consideration now, but the Baja Boss's are #1 currently. I appreciate all the feedback!

My patagonias are running thin... at 16k miles on the odometer. They've been a great tire but I'm thinking of jumping ship to an AT. I'm down in the desert, so I don't care at all about rain or snow performance. I'd like optimum performance in the sand, but mostly rocks. I'm leaning wildpeak or MTs, but wanted feedback on anyone with 37" ATs. I'm leaning away from BFG because of how small then run.

I just went through all of this, and it came down to two that I dont see here...

General Grabber ATX and Yokohama X-AT. They both have great reviews...the General runs a true 37, and the Yoko is a 36.8.

I ended up going Yoko, and have been super pleased so far, although it hasnt been very long.

Edit: I was just running the Patagonia MTs

Hankook Dynapro XT. It's like a hybrid between AT/MT tires.

A General Grabbers ATX is 36.4 mounted, and that was on my JKU, with the weight of the JT being a little heavier, I'd bet they are slightly smaller on the JT. Good tire though, but definitely not gonna measure 37.

I had Toyo Open Country RT's on my JKU and loved them. Mix between AT and MT. I would be running them now instead of K02's, but couldn't find 4 of them when I went to 37s.
I ran these on my old truck, really great hybrid tire.
