Made another bed divider today. I hand routed the grille and headlight pattern.

It didn't come out perfect, but mistakes open other opportunities. Instead of traditional stain, I painted it black and distressed it with wire brush, sandpaper, and steel wool.

Then, I attached steel discs in the headlights. They were leftover from previous magnetic cellphone mounts.

I attached magnetic battery powered puck lights from Amazon. The recessed "pockets" help keep the light from sliding down during bumpy rides.

Here it is installed. The lights come on when it senses motion (and it is dark), like when I open the tailgate at night. Since they are attached magnetically, I can remove them quickly and use them wherever I need them. Otherwise, it adds convenience lighting.

They work great! The lights turn off after 20 seconds if it doesn't sense motion.

I could see these selling on Etsy. ??

Installed and wired up my DD SSC1 rear lights. Should work pretty well as auxiliary backup lights.

I also wired in the red back light with the tail lights

Fixed the rubbing issues I was having with the 37's on the rear track bar by replacing it with a Clayton rear track bar. Plenty of room now! Also added the front while I was at it, feels way stronger, and I was able to center both of my axles while I was at it. A nice win.

I also have a case of severe "While I'm in here syndrome" and added the Steer smarts reinforcement bracket when I ordered the track bars. Steering feels mint ? and I feel much more comfortable with the bigger tires (they forgot to give me my new track bar bolt, I'll put the proper hardware on later)

I also made a friend when I borrowed my old man's OTHER Mopar to buy the missing bolt, it's nice to see a survivor running around town, it was even right hand drive!

Looks great. How/where did you mount the rock lights?

Thanks, I used magnets and brackets the kit came with. The front rock lights I used the bolt from my adventurelab High-Line Fender Brace and attached it to the bracket. The other rock lights are positioned in between the rock rails and the body.

More like what did it do to me! Went to install a tire carrier that I procrastinated on for near two month (its 100+ everyday here). So the install manual, which I had to go find online, is not really so much a manual but a few pictures and hastily scribbled gobbledegook. Not even sure I have all the nuts and bolts. Anyhow not surprising some holes didn’t line up so I tried using a drill bit to widen it. Ended up having the piece fling into me when the drill bit caught giving me a nice cut on my ear. Found a video online of the same carrier being installed and the guy had all the same issues. Oh and it also has spots where the finish is missing. Ordered a burr set to properly widen the holes and will be purchasing some black rust-o-leum mañana to touch up bare spots. On the bright side it is heavy duty and should work out well once I circumvent the other issues.

After some messing around with JScan, no errors or hyperflash.

Got the paddle kit from Threedom installed that I picked up from their booth at the Jeep Invasion. Between the Borla exhaust, the K&N cold air intake, and the paddle shifters, this is not going to help my mileage at all.

Finally got around to installing my “budget” Aux and light project. I got a Voswitch JL400 a while back with a coupon deal and recently picked up a set of KC cowl lights for about half off. Very easy install and works great.

Just the paddles thankfully. The wiring harness was the hardest part but not difficult since you take a picture and use it as a guide for the new harness.

Finished installing a TopLiner from CoverKing and yes I threw in a few panels of KilMat sound deadening. Not full coverage sound deadening just large flat areas. Very happy with the results.

- In cabin noise is noticeably reduced but not sure if that’s the TopLiner or the KilMat.

- It is noticeably cooler in the cab when my JT is parked in the sun.

- The car audio sounds a lot better in that I don’t turn the volume and bass as high as I normally do.

Of course all this is subjective, your results may vary.
