~Installed Reid Racing Knuckles.

~Cut the Rancho passenger coil spring isolator to get rid of bowing

~Installed a Trackbar Frame Brace but their sector shaft piece wouldn’t line up and their hardware was garbage so we removed/replaced the steering gear box and drilled out and tapped the holes to larger/stronger bolts. The sector shaft brace now seems unnecessary.

~Installed rear Evo Bump Stop pads.

~Installed front 4” Bump Stop pads that “snap” together and then “snap” apart during articulation (NOT supposed to come apart when articulating).

~Tested articulation to determine any areas that need adjustment. Found the front shock bodies contact the frame, limiting flex, and would cause bent/broken shock shafts. Will install Shock Relocation Brackets from Metalcloak. May need to install even longer brake lines than current ones.

Got help installing new Shrockworks sliders. Talk about beefy. Destroyed my two previous brands, I believe these will survive.

Set out to assemble the Smart Cap to make sure nothing was damaged. After that I realized I no longer could fit the boxes in the garage. So I had to rig up some pulleys and air down the back tires to get it on ??

Reset tire size using the JScan app.
Swapped from the factory 7.5” wheel to the Method 701 which is an 8.5”

Lost about 1/2” of tire height.

I may go to 37s so I can have 35s

Use the Jscan app to recalibrate my tire size. My speedo is now 100% accurate.

then took it out to a small off-road park near to me and have a little fun with it.

Quake smoke fender chop. I decided to keep the inner fender liner and trim it and tuck it over the light housing. Fabed up a little piece from the cut off fender as a closure piece. Wanted the whole set up to look as factory as possible (not a fan of the hacked up fender look … but that’s just me). At first I didn’t want the smoke lens (they were OOS of the standard kit) because I typically don’t like dark lens but thought I’d give it a try. I think it looks pretty clean with the factory black fenders.

Changed oil and filter. Been wanting to install a Fumoto valve and finally did. Easy peasy.

One of the best things I’ve added! Makes oil changes a no mess breeze!
