Supply may be the issue, but your post isn't exactly following what I mean - the Fox shocks that came STOCK on the Rubicon aren't anything special or fancy - and that alone would be one reason to switch to another brand. The fox shocks weren't that great - so why not replace them with something cheaper and likely just as good.I would disagree, if that’s the case, why change for an obviously cheaper version
You are suggesting the Fox shocks supplied on the rubicon were high performance, something special?
The special ones are the Fox shocks they put on the diesel versions under the TSB - THOSE are fancy and expensive shocks.
I ran the Rubicon fox shocks on my Overland for 2 years. The rears were bouncy and I'm not the only one that thought so. I'd never ever buy them new. Not worth the money. There are better shocks, likely for a lot less money. Maybe Jeep figured that out.
