This does make me curious about the tuning differences between the FOX and the red body shocks. Hopefully it has better ride control than the FOXs!

Been talked about elsewhere in another thread that 2023 Rubicon Gladiators will not get the Fox 2.0 shocks but the red bodied shocks similar to what comes on the Wrangler JL Rubicon.

I speculate there will be an increase in the secondary market values for used take off Fox 2.0 shocks going forward.
Speaking of take off fox shocks, I do have a set that is taking up space in my shop. For anyone interested.

I am a big fan of Bilstein going back to my Nissan and Mitsu days of fan boy cars.
They were equal or better than KWs for the track and are always rebuildable out of their CA factory versus Germany.
QFT.

Coming from German performance cars and Toyotas with Bilsteins, I'm a big fan.

I've run the hell out of my Mojave and I have yet to see the remote reservoir warm up. Does this thing actually do anything? The main cylinder is hot as hell but the reservoir is room temp, like there is no fluid transfer happening.

$100-$200 with most probably selling closer to $100. Up until now, they are slow movers to sell locally or ship due to cost. I have sat on two sets of them for quite awhile before they sold around the $100 range.

Supply may be the issue, but your post isn't exactly following what I mean - the Fox shocks that came STOCK on the Rubicon aren't anything special or fancy - and that alone would be one reason to switch to another brand. The fox shocks weren't that great - so why not replace them with something cheaper and likely just as good.
You are suggesting the Fox shocks supplied on the rubicon were high performance, something special?
The special ones are the Fox shocks they put on the diesel versions under the TSB - THOSE are fancy and expensive shocks.

I ran the Rubicon fox shocks on my Overland for 2 years. The rears were bouncy and I'm not the only one that thought so. I'd never ever buy them new. Not worth the money. There are better shocks, likely for a lot less money. Maybe Jeep figured that out.

Do you by chance have the Part# for the "TSB" Diesel version ? I have the diesel, added the mopar lift.... wondering between two sets of "FOX" shocks what I actually have... Not worried about anything, my ride is great... being said with nothing to compare it to though.

Since we are talking shocks... maybe you guys can clear a couple things up for me a bit concerning the shocks used for the JTRD.
I read several threads about the diesel shocks and the mopar lift and can confirm the shocks have different part #'s
but
can anyone tell me exactly what is the difference between between the stock diesel , mopar lift and the "TSB" shocks ?

Thanks
This part # describes a "KIT"... I know in some instances, (with the 2021 model) people had their bump stops replaced and or a mopar lift kit installed from the dealership because of bottoming out issues..... I haven't had any shock related issues with mine(2022 JTRD)
BUT
I am curious what the actual differences are in the shocks.... how is the mopar lift shock different than the OEM JTRD fox shock and is the TSB shock you spoke of difference than the mopar lift shock ? gets a little confusing... ha ha

The lift shocks almost certainly have a longer length.

I can’t comment more on the differences in valving between the two different “factory” shocks (reg and tsb) or how the tsb shock valving differs from the lift shocks.

Not that its the end all be all of info, but the Jeep website doesn't mention the Fox shocks on the Rubicon but it does for the Mojave-- still. Aren't the Mojave shocks different from off the shelf Fox remote reservoir gear?

That being said, I think we might be seeing an issue with a supplier exclusive contract coming to an end. Ford is heavily invested in the Fox suspension systems for the F150 Raptor, Ranger Tremor, Bronco Raptor, and the upcoming Ranger Raptor.

Perhaps Fox and Stellantis are parting ways? The Ram TRX comes with a Bilstein system FWIW.
Not quite true. The compare tool still shows Fox shocks for the Mojave and Rubicon.

My 2023 Rubicon build sheet shows Red Tenneco shocks. Build completion date was 10/3/2022. Others are reporting the same.
