Can confirm. I am sick of the Rubi shocks. I think most people just don't know what a good suspension should feel like.
That's what pushed me into the Mojave. Every other model felt underdamped.
The Mojave felt like the suspension was well sorted out with softer spring rates and firmer damping.

Not quite true. The compare tool still shows Fox shocks for the Mojave and Rubicon.

Why do people to this day trust that stupid consumer site. It's been posted in these forums dozens of times how often WRONG that thing is. It's consumer level and doesn't always reflect reality in parts availability or pricing.

That thing not only isn't god - it's barely human.

Don't go by that web site.

My 22 JTRD also came with the Fox shocks. Are those the stock tires? Those look bigger.
2022 should, at least until close to the end of the 2022 run.
2023 is the likely change - perhaps a contract issue, supply issue, it's all speculation unless you work in FCA corporate where these things are determined.
I'd expect all 2022 model year Rubicons got the Fox shocks unless some made after July got different.

Those look to be 35's if I had to guess!

Certainly, and to your point, in the marketing there is zero mention of the Fox stuff on the Rubicon anymore whereas it is front and center in the Mojave's pages.

I'd bet the marketing department gets it correct before the build side due to truth in advertising rules and then covers their asses with the disclaimers on the build sheets.

I disagree. This is one thing someone can point to if they want to dispute the receipt of Red Tenneco shocks instead of Fox shocks. It may not get anywhere but it does provide an option.

From the dealer I just asked, they noted the techs are saying the shock system is still made by Fox but does not have the branding, don't think we'll clear it up until we have part numbers for the red ones to see if someone can nail down the manufacturer.

I gave my son the OEM Falkens

These are Nitto Trail Grappler M/T 35x12.5 R 17

They measure out to 34" mounted on the JT

Also added the Teraflex 1.5" Front Leveling kit because I prefer the Level stance over the Raked look.

How do they ride on the stock wheels? I was thinking to the exact setup but I’ve heard mixed opinions about mounting 35x12.5 on the stock wheels.

They ride fine at 50# , Max on tire is 65#

Looks like the inside & outside shoulders aren't getting much road contact at this pressure, I am sure airing down would get full contact at the cost of fuel efficiency.

No rubbing except a tiny amount on the floppy plastic fender liner at full turn lock.

Not a problem enough for me to tie wrap them back or replace with steel liners.

I have seen plenty of forum reports and YouTube Ramp Test to know there is no issue at full articulation.

Won't be buying wider rims unless I go to a 38" later on.

37s come in 12.50 as well but I would need to lift and regear at that point since the EcoDiesel only comes with 3.73 gears, 4.10 is really the sweet spot for 35s and just under the calculated 4.22 needed for 37s.

Going from OEM 285x70 to the 35x12.50 results in an effective GR of 3.49.

Calculator says 3.99 gets back to OEM torque band so a 4.10 would give it slightly more hole shot if even noticeable.

Now let’s all act surprised when there’s mid MY’23 availability for an Xtreme recon package with “premium fox suspension” and the fox shocks are back but this time with a gold sticker instead of red.

EDIT TO ADD: Confirmed that 2023 Rubicon's no longer receive the Fox Performance Suspension. The 2023 Rubicon's receive "Red Tenneco Suspension" now.

A member recently took the order of their Rubicon to find it had Mopar red shocks. Usually, the shocks Rubicons had before Fox's. For those who have taken delivery recently, what shocks do you have? And for those with future deliveries, could you report here what you have? I would like to know if this is widespread or sporadic.
Mine built in April 2022 (delivered July 16) and had the Fox suspension.

Anyone else get delivery of their 2023 rubicon with red shocks? what did the dealer say about it?
If it is on the build sheet as the red HD Tenneco shocks, what can they say? Not like they are going to be ordering people the Fox 2.0 shocks and getting approval for that.
