Had no idea these existed, super cool option.
Me neither! My buddy who has a JL got a set for his rig and showed them to me the other day. I ordered a set immediately. Note that Amazon has them cheaper than their own site currently.

You have about a what, 1" or so head start (referring to height/lift) being a Mojave anyway. If that were anything down the line, it would be close.

I guess this is more of a "for" but on the 10th will be a "to".
i finally made that call - to the service advisor that my sales guy highly recommends and made the appointment for my JT to have the weird, rare and only under very specific conditions misfire diagnosed.
They do loaners (rental vehicles they pay for) and I asked him to go ahead and line one up for me that day. He said something about "for that day" and I told him of my unpleasant dental visit at 7am the next day......
He said "we plan on having yours done the same day" and I had to laugh and said - yeah, I hope so but I can't even force the thing to act up myself so how will you guys catch it?.
I have a feeling with all the data captures I've sent over the last 3 months or so that maybe they already have an idea - the sales fellow was sure ready for me to get it into their shop.
We'll see.
Oh, the fun they are going to have when they open the hood and see the extra equipment under there for the plow, winch and other stuff and all of the new wiring harnesses.

Let’s hope they don’t say the can’t start diagnostics until you remove all the aftermarket add-ons…?

One reason I installed things the ways that I did was to make it simple to go backwards.
No cutting of any wires, I used only bolt-on brackets that are easy to remove and so on.
If they are concerned, they can unbolt the plow's isolation box and unplug harnesses and take the power and ground cables for the winch and plow off the battery. (the way this plow is designed, the controller can't even power-up unless the plow is on and both big heavy cables are plugged in at the front of the truck. Otherwise, nothing is operational. And I remove and hide the controller when the plow isn't mounted although it has the ability to put in an encrypted code. )

On the positive - I reported the first instance at 56 miles, 3 days after picking it up, and before any mods, including the console tray, were installed (well, I guess I had the blue knob rings slipped over the dash knobs by then LOL. Easy to remove!)

But after the guys at a different dealership told me they thought the reason my batteries were low was because my winch was draining them........ I'd be surprised at nothing! I so wanted to take the tech out to my truck, open the hood and ask him what that freakin' big RED switch was for sitting next to the battery -between battery and winch. Off means off! It's not like a faucet, it can't leak :headbang:

Had morimoto pod lights installed

I’m forcing myself to stop buying things for now. It just hit 400 miles and has had auxiliary switches installed, latches upgraded, Armorlite flooring installed, oracle lights installed, dv8 amber lights.

if I don’t stop now, she’ll have a lift by thanksgiving and new wheels by Christmas

Yes just came out a few weeks ago..
Swapped my Gen3 upgrade in yesterday. They are going to let me RMA the original. New one is much cleaner, but required some rewriting due to me cutting everything to length. VOSwitch main cable also doesn’t reach as is, so have to figure out how to reroute.
