Ok so that’s my next question when you went from the 12.5 to the 11.5 any difference? I’m currently running 285-70-17 and thinking of going 35x12.5
Noise is noticably less with the Toyo's but that is probably due to the smaller contact patch and more street friendly tread pattern. I do feel an improvement in wet weather driving, beings as I feel like the tires don't want to float as much as the 12.5's did. I know the Toyo's are a good bit lighter, too.

I've ran most all the popular AT tires and the Baja Boss is the best I ever used, that includes snow and ice.
I had two Tundra work trucks, one with Falken AT3W and one with the Baja Boss AT's. And when the Falken equipped truck cannot make the climb up to my barn, I can drive around it with the Baja Bosses and pull it up the hill.

Congrats my friend. Just drove mine 100 miles back home today. Other than the shop pumping them up to 45 psi, they feel great.

I have the stock rubicon how different would the 12.50 be from the 11.50 and would I need to do anything to the JT. I currently run the 285-70-17
I’m stock suspension but aftermarket wheels I went to 35 x 12.5 Mickey Thompson Baja boss ATs. I absolutely love them I do have a little more poke than I would like but I’m putting on the xtreme recon flares so that should help.

I’m on 37” Ironman all country MTs. Unfortunately, I live in Southern California and cannot attest to how they do in the snow because we don’t get that here. However I can say the Wildpeak AT3s I used to have were great in the snow when I was able to find some.

Great to hear all the positive reviews of the new Baja Boss! I'm not a fan of 12.5 wide I have now and want to go back to a "pizza cutter". I think the 35x10r17 Baja Boss is the way I'm gonna go!

I have Run all types of tires. The BFG AT KO2 will be my tire from now on.
For the JT get “D” load range. Do NOT get “C” load range!
My “C” load range lasted 45,000 on my JKU HR Rubicon.
My JT has 52,000 miles on “D” load range 37x12.50x17’s. They still have a lot of tread left and I would guess they will last to 65,000+ miles.

the 37x12.50x17 BFG AT KO2s on stock Wrangler Rubicon Rims I bought off of FB were put on my non lifted JT Sport S Max Tow with only front fender chop from American Adventure Labs. All else was stock. There wasn’t any rubbing with on road driving. Off road I am sure it would rub.
Yes BFG AT KO2s are not a true 37” but they are Fantastic for a daily driver. Even. With 52,000 miles on them they are quiet and plenty of traction in the wet. Last winter I was in 6+ inches of snow in Wisconsin and Ice in Indiana. I stayed in 2 wheel drive and traction was never an issue.
BFG AT tires are that good and worth every penny IMOP. I’ve been disappointed in many of the others listed on here, never disappointed with the BFG’s.

get D load range though, you won’t notice a difference in ride quality!
I’ve run with lots of weight in the JT and I drive fast often cruising at 75-80mph. The 4:10 gears are fine for the 37’s.

It’s finally that time to spend out money on new tires. What is everyone’s preference and how do they do in the snow? Give me your opinions please.
Have Nitto Trail Grapplers MT, they are rated for snow but they aren’t really a snow tire. I really like the ride of the tires & the look, not all that noisy for a chunky MT. I left them on all last winter with no issues. Haven’t had them in any big winter snows I suspect wet or ice may be a bigger issue. The Nittos do have sipes which treads water away. I’m in Colorado where winter snows are fairly mild.

You won’t regret the Pizza Cutters, I have had them for a week. 35X10 was the best decision ever. They look great, they are quiet, they are fuel efficient and steering and drivability have drastically improved. Baja Boss has impressed me so far.

I have Falcons from factory and think they are a good tire but decided to go a different route this time. I know Goodyear doesn’t get much love maybe due to their corporate pandering but since they were my first retirement and the yearly special I get I couldn’t pass up the offer and went with the Duratrac this time around. I do like their tread design just hope they ride good

Right on! I had a 33x10r16 on my JKU and really liked them. When I got the JT, I thought I'd see what all the hype was about and run a 35x12.5 like everyone else... not great. Hard to steer in tight situations (parking in a ramp/small lot/etc), worse than expected in snow/cold.

If I lived somewhere south, I probably wouldn't swap them out early, but being in MN... we have too many months of the year with snow/cold to deal with a tire I don't like in those conditions.

The Tonka truck look is so over done. Since the 70’s Jeep’s have had big fat tires. They have very little use for daily driving, they are useless in snow or on ice. I’ll stick to tall and skinny, I went from 35X11.5, to 35X10 and I’m looking forward to the snow season. I’m on the east coast of Canada, snow is a fact of life here and traction is the most important. Fat tires are good in mud, that’s about it.

Falken AT3W are my choice for everything except deep mud.
