A-Pillar Water Drip (TSB 23-041-21 REV. A)

Just picked up my 2020 Gladiator Sport S from my dealer this afternoon, they had it for 2 days to install the left and right A-Pillar seals and the Windshield Header seal per the TSB 23-041-21 REV. A. Will keep everyone posted on if these seals take care of the water running in onto the floor!

The TSB only details the install of the diverter pieces on the sport bar. Can you post the instructions for the header piece - following is from the TSB: Remove current header seal and install new revision header seal. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info 23 - Body / Weatherstrip/Seals / Weatherstrip, Header, Roof / Removal and Installation.

TSBs always refer the tech to the service library and you need access to that as a shop or tech or some paid subscription.
It's like checking the ball joint nuts - they refer the tech to the service library on how to lift the truck on a lift.
Not sure if he can actually post that part or not since it's not part of the TSB.

2020 Launch Edition purchased Nov. 1st 2019 with 15,500km/9630 miles. Yes its basically brand new.

Greater Toronto Area (GTA) dealership visit Dec. 7th, 2022.

Denied warranty repair for this TSB due to being out of basic warranty.

@JeepCares: Can you help? I have sent you scan of dealership invoice and notes for reference.

I doubt they'll help because- it's out of warranty and a TSB is not a recall or warranty thing, and this isn't a defect.

You are over 36 months.
It's not broken, there's no defect.
This is a service bulletin for an improvement in case a customer complains.
It's a "this is how to fix the complaint" bulletin.
It's not a recall by any definition.
(Being in Canada - I wonder if JeepCares can even be involved................)

If they do "give it to you' it's just them being nice. They don't have to, it's not required.
So be thankful if the dealer says "we'll cover it". Take them a box of donuts or something.

Called FCA Canada (1-800-465-2001) and logged a case. They were able to assist with a settlement with the District Service Manager where I will pay for the parts and the installation will be covered. Happy with the result.

My bet is time consuming as it involves more than just the door frame area - more than opening a door and applying a part.
If they charge $175/hour and it takes 2 hours, plus parts...........
