With the ecodiesel being discontinued, it’s not profitable for vendors. Unfortunately that’s the world we live in. I’m still loving my JTRD though.
The Ecodiesel isn't discontinued in the JT. Still have 2023 for the JL yet.

I posted a thread over at the AEV forum as well. It takes a while for moderation to approve your account, but I suggest everybody interested to make their voice heard. I know we have an unofficial confirmation from AEV but it doesn't hurt to make sure they know.

Plans can change.

What benefit does it really provide? Besides going in water deeper than I want to in the first place. Yeah I know the Jeep has plugs in the floorboards. 30 inches is deep enough water for me. plus then I gotta cut my hood or drill a hole in it. Think I'll pass. I see no real benefit for me. I guess to each his/her own.

Where I am it’s very dusty in the summer months, so I want one with a cyclone pre-filter to catch particulate. I’m not really thinking about water crossings at all.

For me, cooler cleaner air, more induction noise, looks cool.

In terms of water, having the intake on the side of the fender isn't brilliant. I don't want to be in water that deep but I have had bow waves that high in my other 4x4s in the past.

Their snorkel replaces utilizes the bottom of the factory airbox, so I'll match that with the AFE intake tube and top box.

That's the plan, anyway.

The guy that posted on Facebook just told me one to two months for release.

Also, I recall seeing at least one video where a diesel just hit a larger puddle too hard and it killed the motor. It doesn’t take water up to the intake to cause hydrolock.

I've had friends hydro-lock Power Wagons. I've had water over the hood on mine. A snorkel is a must for me. So that I can play with the big kids.
