Scissor jack works most of the time, even on the trails. Even for lifted Jeeps with larger tires. If not, add a jack block. After that, or just carry both...bottle jack.

Hi-Lift (farm jacks) are mainly fashion statements. And they're dangerous (Gotta know how to use them, bro!). I have one buried in my garage somewhere, never used or carried on any trail or trip.

I've got 37's on mine, with 2.5" AEV lift. At home on the driveway, I use this puppy. It works fine for changing tires or getting high enough to put jack stands in place. You can get ones that lift higher, but being only 56lbs makes it easier to wield for me, especially if placing in the bed to take with me. I usually have a beefy chunk of 2x12 to put underneath it when not on concrete.

At home I use a floor jack. I carry a bottle jack with a 12" section of 2X12 for a base. Hi lift jacks are useful but they can be dangerous if you plain on using one practice with it so you know how to use it before you need it.

I use the AEV Jack Base with the stock jack, and also have the under dash mount. Granted I don't do hard core wheeling where a different jack might be needed for the situation.

I carry a floor jack, bottle jack, and Hi-Lift jack. I use them in that order of preference. Yes, the Hi-Lift can be dangerous, as Ronny Dahl described in his video. When you need the extreme lift, it may be the only resort.

I still have my scissor jack that came with the JT, I built a little wooden platform to lift it a little bit and act as a base. I also have a Hi-Lift with the additional base, the 48" version fits perfectly in that slot behind the rear seats. I intend to lose both of those and use a bottle or floor jack on wheels one day. Both of these work but I am always looking for more.

What’s the best bottle jack in everyone’s opinion? I have a stock height Sport S Max Tow and plan at the most only putting 285s on it since I am going to tow with it.

This make me think that since I have a whole empty bed truck, really should just be taking my full size Jack.
