Finally got my window replaced today. Ne task is to reinstall my canopy with the help of some neighbor.

Hopefully this will not reoccur as it’s taken over a month from when I called for an appointment to completion

Weather has turned to wet snow here in Western Wa, my prayer is that won’t cause any problems………

If it was only a month, that’s not too bad. When mine was replaced 2 years ago, from the time I found the leak and called them, until it was done was 13 weeks. That also included 2 times to diagnose (even though I told them where), several weeks of waiting on the window, and aborted first install because that glass guy didn’t want to touch the window/top.

My local glass guy ordered my replacement yesterday, he says it'll be in sometime next week. Hope he's right, and I'm not left waiting.

Man, it seems like everyone is having rear window leak issues these days. Chevy Silverado/GMC leaks the same way, top rear window frame cracks and leaks. Ram, third brake light leaks and also shark fin antenna on the roof. Ford, leaks above the rear window slider. and sunroof. Tundra, leaks from the sunroof pan.

Whys is this so common these days. Seems like COVID really sank quality.

I had the dreaded rear window leak and finally got it fixed last month. I didn't have any issues getting the dealership to agree to fix the problem once they confirmed it was leaking.

They did make me remove my tonneau cover and kayak rack before taking it to be fixed. They also left a bit of a mess when I picked it up. Found broken glass everywhere, it is still coming out from underneath the Jeep.

I just noticed the leak on my 21 a week ago. I had noticed there were a few water droplets behind the back seats a month or so ago, but just chalked it up to condensation since our weather has been really erratic here in PA.

But I stopped at the car wash on Thanksgiving and really noticed the water dripping in all along the top of the window.

I have an appointment to get it checked out next friday, so hopefully this will get resolved sooner than later.

I had the same leaking problem with mine, the Dealer sealed the upper part of the back glass that took care of the leak.

What the hell. I just bought a 2020 CPO at the dealer 3 weeks ago; first rain here and it’s leaking at the rear window. Why aren’t these recalled and fixed? @JeepCares what gives?

Had mine “fixed” - still leaked.

Took it back and they “fixed” it again. Went to pick it up and it was an abomination of sealant, crooked, and sticking out of the frame.

So “fixed“ again, at least doesn’t look like crud but the defroster has never worked since.

They said they couldn’t test it because it wasn’t cold enough out. I finally just gave up on it ever being right again.

They are lying that they can't test the defroster. You can turn it on anytime and check it using a multimeter.

Local dealer did leaking rear window under warranty. They had a third party glass company come in to replace. First company could not do install so a second company had to come in. Told dealer service advisor in advance not to mess up vehicle as I have reviewed horror stories on this forum.

So guess what they did. They destroyed hardtop insulation/weather stripping, scratched paint under top, and stress fractured bottom of top. Looks like a pick was used for leverage when running defrost lines.

@JeepCares i took pictures of damage when I got home immediately. I have pictures of Jeep before service. Gladiator is 2021 and garage kept. Perfect condition with only 7k miles. I left message with service advisor, service director and general manager at dealership. They are contacting glass company to resolve. How long should I wait before calling back for resolution? Feel like having to wait for plan of action is salt to wounds.

Add me to the list!

Noted water leaking last Friday and definitely not looking forward to the probable hackery to get this repaired....... I'll be sure to doccument the condition of the areas around the window in case they screw it up. In the mean time I tucked some vacuum tubing in to the top void to seal it for now. I need to get this going I suppose since I'm right at 34K miles and out of body warranty at 36K?
