Because the true numbers aren't as big as they appear. It's always going to appear worse because of the "me too" bit of forums where people gather to compare gripes and problems. What the hell. I just bought a 2020 CPO at the dealer 3 weeks ago; first rain here and it’s leaking at the rear window. Why aren’t these recalled and fixed? @JeepCares what gives?
What do they recall? All Gladiators when 99% don't have leaks?
I've owned two - neither one has any leaks (so far hahaha)
That's just plain incompetence - those morons shouldn't be allowed near a pedal car.Local dealer did leaking rear window under warranty. They had a third party glass company come in to replace. First company could not do install so a second company had to come in. Told dealer service advisor in advance not to mess up vehicle as I have reviewed horror stories on this forum.
So guess what they did. They destroyed hardtop insulation/weather stripping, scratched paint under top, and stress fractured bottom of top. Looks like a pick was used for leverage when running defrost lines.
@JeepCares i took pictures of damage when I got home immediately. I have pictures of Jeep before service. Gladiator is 2021 and garage kept. Perfect condition with only 7k miles. I left message with service advisor, service director and general manager at dealership. They are contacting glass company to resolve. How long should I wait before calling back for resolution? Feel like having to wait for plan of action is salt to wounds.
