Air bag would not be visable from this viewWOW, you guys missed that huge gaping hole?
Your passenger side airbag is gone, that is where that factory connector goes.
They are called Star connectors. They are used to connect the Can-IHS circuits together at one box, ans the Can-C circuits on the ither box. Pretty common way to steal Rams for the last 2 generations, bypasses the SGWI wonder - is it possible to access the ability to program other FOBs in that area?
I'd be curious as to not only what they accessed, but why, and did they make any changes?
You never know what could have been installed.
Like Hootbro, I'd be looking for what might have been accessed or taken, but also what could have been added.
That's the view when you remo e the glovebox. That is way below air bagWOW, you guys missed that huge gaping hole?

I used to lock my glove box and center console. But realizing that a very small pry bar can defeat those locks (and damage the jeep in the process) I find it safer to leave them unlocked and empty when im parking with no doors on. I now keep my registration and insurance behind my locked rear driver's side seat. Going to be a bit of a conversation if i ever get pulled over... but I haven't been pulled over in probably over a decade so it's a risk I'm willing to take.Lock your glove box and hood....cheap insurance
Yeah, understand what they are, and that they are after the firewall, and that's why I wondered if there was a way to quickly connect to add fobs - or other changes. They are called Star connectors. Good photo. Thanks. How difficult is it to pull forward if a person wanted to run some wires or access something up high? The air bag is above the glove box![]()
