After multiple days of detailing a few weeks ago, I happened to notice a string of small dents along the driver's side hood right above the roll.
Maybe they've always been there. I don't know.
Tried to ignore them but they began to eat at my OCD soul.
You really could only see them when the light was just right, but once you do see something like that it's really all you see.
So I found a mobile dent guy and met him in a parking lot today, and he took care of them.
Dude made it look so easy, but I know it's anything but.

Getting the correct ride height on your Jeep, necessary to work with the add on equipment, can be challenging, especially for picky people. Getting the proper working height along with ease of access is twice as challenging. I have found trying to get my Gladiator at the stance I want has been elusive. Two different sets of springs, spacers, etc. My next step is a set of AEV springs. Following the AEV springs I'm sure it will sit just right. However, at this point I have decided to leave it be for a while. Sorry to hear about your wife and the lack of good medical treatment. Hope she gets proper care and makes a speedy full recovery.

The problem with the snow plow is not just operationally, but hooking up to it and taking it off.
That's where the issues will be. I'm at the borderline measurement with the plow installed so it should be "level enough" as far as how they want it when using it.
Maybe things will "settle in" a bit with all that weight on it for a while. I should go out and raise the plow!
I love the ride - it's really super-smooth on the front. You don't feel every little bump or pit in the pavement. Great ride.

Nice. I have one more to go. Think im gonna get it done and check the lube techs work afterwards like I have been at every jeep wave oil change/tire rotation.

I have 2 tire rotations left as the dealer claimed to have done it (was shown on the work order) but it was never completed. It was comical looking at the service advisor and service managers faces when I told them it wasn't done. They asked me how do you know it wasn't done, our tech said it was done. I proceeded to show the soap (welders soap stick) marks on the inner portion of each tire that I placed prior to taking it in.... sure enough the soap marks matched each tires location indicating that rotation wasn't done.

Its insane that some shops try to get away with this kinda crap.

Curious, Do you use the snow plow to clear your property or for side jobs? Seen a few trucks equipped like this in Iowa/ Ilinois and have always wondered.

Okay, I'm sure it goes without saying but the factory halogen lights are just atrocious. Not only can I now see at night, but the switcback fog lights have amber and clear by doubletapping the fog light button. I CAN SEE!!!!!!

Those fog lights are awesome! I only use the yellow on them in the fog but they're both super bright!!

You could always put a short length of 2x4 or some scraps of plywood under the skids and the kickstand when you goto unhook.

The cutting bit looks like a good angle, the more important part is the mid-frame. Ideally it needs to be level or if anything, angled down towards the pickup.

Skids are great if you plow alot of gravel or uneven/rough/cracked/patchy pavement.
The cutting edge is great for more smooth pavement or cement. But will quickly gouge or mess up a gravel/dirt drive.

Man same here. In early Dec, we had 150% snow water equivalent. Now were down to 70% - its bad....really bad. Almost no snow left in the valley bottoms. All the snow higher up is like ice. Only the mtn tops have deep snow now. Today was wicked too. 35 in the morning when it should have been 0 or below. Then a crazy wind storm and rain.... I really don't want to deal with another fire season but it's looking like that will be the case.

today 50 degrees, tomorrow through Friday am 4-8” snow coming. Gonna be a plowing bonanza!

Just my property. I don't handle the cold well with my hand injuries, and my back doesn't shovel well.
I have a blade for my JD lawn tractor but dang, that's cold work.

You could always put a short length of 2x4 or some scraps of plywood under the skids and the kickstand when you goto unhook.

Ya, I've plowed a little snow.

That loader or the road grader move alot of snow, but the 10 yard dump truck on the background can move faster.
Pickups are a waste of time, except in tight quarters. Not that I could afford that equipment, it's work's.
I also spent several years in the shop before I went out on the road crew. After nearly 20yrs of turning wrench, I like being outside and the variety better.


The bolts on the left, can you adjust the height of that mount point? If not, it's probably just fine, especially since your only doing your own driveway. For personal use I probably wouldn't worry about it, if it wasn't cheap and/or easy to change. Just my worthless 2 cents.
