So two things. First, I got my new hardware in the mail from avo, much better on the bottom clamps now. The bolts are threaded all the way through the nylock nuts. Awful quality control on alu cabs part, but mistakes happen. Second, I’m prob just being picky, but we have had some good rain storms only spot that had a very slight leak looked to be underneath the caps on the bed rails. Nothing to do with the canopy. Anyway there is a small gap between the canopy and front of the bed. No rain has come through there yet, but I would like to seal it a lil better. Has anyone put some silicone or some other type of sealant in any of these two spots?

AVO is sending me out new bolts for the bottom brackets b/c the ones that came in the kit were to small from alu cab . Bolts don’t even pass through the nylock.

Just checked my mount and it's the same. Wondering how everyone else's looks like. It's been like that for the last 6 months.

We siliconed sections of mine to make it watertight, no leaks so far. I’ll take some photos of it in the daylight

I could not be happier with how this AluCab turned out. It was so nice having dry storage in the snow.
What snorkel are you running that connects to the driver side of engine bay?

Got my canopy yesterday. Install was fairly easy, but the new mount design using carriage bolts didn't match the instructions. Didn't take long to figure it out. I also have the short bolt problem and one of the window latches was broken. Have asked AVO for replacements. I also have a small gap on both sides at the front. I guess I'll use silicone as others have.

I used all of the shims on just four mounts. See the pic for how many I had to use. Is this normal? I have asked for more shims.

Is there supposed to be a gasket between the rear window and tailgate? The gap between them is pretty large. The rubber flap just hangs inside, so it doesn't do anything. Lots of room for dust to get in there.

I use sikaflex to seal up the front gaps.

The gap is probably cause by too many shims.
It's not too many shims. I only added one more shim than what was needed to fill the space between the two halves of the mounts. The gap I have is similar to what @Jglad15 showed a picture of.

On my truck, the gap at the tailgate is due to the placement of the canopy on the bed being too far forward. Unfortunately, it cannot be moved towards the tailgate because then it is too far to the back and there would be a gap at the front. I think the canopy is about 2” too short for a gladiator.

Maybe it's just the enlarged photo that makes this gap look larger than it actually is.
It's just a closeup, not enlarged. The gap is about 1 inch. That's a lot of room for air and dust to enter.

It looks likes it is lined up correctly with the tailgate, but there is supposed to be a piece of weatherstripping on the tailgate door that I don't see.

Same here. I moved it back so the rubber flap met the tailgate, but the canopy hung off the bed rail. Moved it forward to where it is now so the metal lip of the rear door is about 1/4" from the tailgate. The rail seal on the front end is centered on the bed rail. That seems to be the correct position.

Need to find a way to fill this gap...
