CB4017 I don't think it will work completely correct without the sensors amyway.
Plus who would think to set the BCM to Duel ATC for Single MTC, doesn't make sense at all. I figured I would just try everything.
Hopefully when the sensors get here I can put them in and set the BCM to Single MTC and let it sit overnight and see if it works...
So you got it already, installed it and it works? I'm impressed.

Also didn't think the PO could move so fast across the country. Looks like the sensors will be there today.

Yes Sir. But the temperature isn't 100% right yet. I am hoping the Sensors will fix that.

Any luck getting the temperature dialed in? Still holding my breath hoping there’s a way to make this work…

Not yet. I have to check and possibly change the one harness to add 2 more sensors in.
Someone on the wrangler forum did it and everything worked correctly after that...

Same boat as you. I’m doing research and if my findings are correct I can order the harness from a dodge Ram instead of making one. Haven’t been able to verify part numbers yet though.

The way I read that thread, extra sensors are required for the Auto HVAC control panel to work properly… is that what you guys are looking to do?

I’m just hoping to get the new manual control panel to work after switching from 5” to 7”, so would’ve thought it’s the same sun sensor as original manual controls and no temp sensor?

All I want is a volume knob again I went bear bones on mine no power lock/windows and manual transmission don’t really need ac but heater is a must I am reading everything I can find
Still don’t know if I can make it work or not I do have a part number for a center stack that I have been told will work

The part number and advice is as fallows
The best option in this case to use is 7BU52DX9AB , This will have a Rear defroster and auto temp that would not function of course

I have gotten the controls to work, that wasn't the issue. They just don't work properly, not even with the auto funtion turned off.
The problem is the air temperature coming out of the vents goes from cold to hot, there is no in between.

I did the same thing but went with the infotainment option.
That said, I have the fancy 7" (?) dash cluster on the way. There is no EPROM programming but I have to send it off to have the mileage match whats on the Gladiator currently. All said and done it should be well under $500. Inforainment is over $1K for the same set up.

Sorry to bump this, but I’m about to install it into my JL the same stack.

If you changed it to dual zone MTC what happens? My sport isn’t wired for the temp sensor at all so I don’t think it’s an option for me to do auto if I want temp control.

So far no luck in getting the heat and ac to be consistent, no matter what settings I used.

Dang. I think I’ll try it in my JL as single zone MTC and let it sit overnight and see if it triggers anything.

If that doesn’t work then i’m not too sure where to go from there. Do you know if I get a dual zone atc stack and just sync the sides if the temperature will be funky or do I need sensors that my jeep isn’t wired for?
