I still like the first version with those Rogue lights! So , if there was an option to get the first version that would be my preference.

I have 20 of those lights coming in this week.... So I should be able to produce 10 pairs soon

Alright so the new tail light printed yesterday which was longer but shorter still had the bulge.

I looked at the jeep for a long time just staring at it for about 30 min...

And I noticed how small the factory tail lights are .. and they're that small to avoid the lower bulge .....

So two solutions....

1. The hardest, design it with a slope to counter act the bulge....

2. Make a small version....

I went ahead and did number 2 last night.... Ha ha that didn't sound right... But it's done printing and when I get home I'll test it and see if it looks
good.

if it looks too small, I'll go the hard route...

Okay so the white LEDs over power the red by a lot....

This tells me that white LEDs with red lens will probably be the best solution.....
I used to work for a sign company and for best results, we would use red LEDs to illuminate red acrylic channel letter faces:

I am wondering if the reverse needs to be a full ring. If it going to be one, whats the thought behind the larger gap on the side and angle? I like having the reverse and brake lights separated (simplicity), probably why all designs are this way. Still looking great.

The entire white ring would be the reverse...

The larger gap I feel correlates with the way the body lines fit the tail lights....

I'll take pics of the smaller light I printed last night when I get home. It won't look like this light but will have the same foot print... You will be able to see the body lines I'm talking about then.

Of course this was just a quick concept to see people's opinions.

Oh I also still plan on putting the gladiator Easter egg crawling up the side too.

My favorite so far. I agree that I think the white ring would look really good closer the the red ring without the gap between. Another option would be to create a different shape or a solid shape instead of ring.
