@Minty JL

Don't worry about it... I'm going to print a flat piece of plastic and heat it in the oven and go mold it into shape again the gladiator... Then I'll have my radius

What about a cheap contour gauge? Would that help get the lines.

It's okay I figured it out...

Turns out problem wasn't the radius....
Problem is the radius hits the body on the lower portion where the factory tail light low ball would hook into the body.... I should be able to get around it pretty easily.

@Justinswidebody Thanks... I just spent $700 because of you, I've been wanting to get into 3d printing and you just convinced me to buy a P1P...

I told my wife it's your fault!

Let me know if you have any suggestions on good resources for learning :)

If you don't mind me asking. What are your goals?

Just so I can help you if you need to do any modifications to the p1p...

Couple of things... tinkering around with cool stuff I find on thingiverse/reddit, I come across stuff all the time for me or the fam or gifts that I wish I could make (bookshelf brackets, video game toys, neat plant vases, headphone holders, etc.)

AND maybe more importantly my son played around in Tinkercad a few years ago and really liked that, he's 15 now and looking to make money somehow. I've given him some ideas to go around to car lots to make custom keychains, or other stuff for small businesses, not sure exactly what but want to help get him on some kind of path if I can... he's got the brain for design, just not from scratch ideas.

Thanks for any input!

Sounds great then! PLA and PETG Filaments should be fine for you then

If you want to get into printing high temp filaments you would need to get a enclosure for the p1p... They're not very expensive and work great... I print ABS and ASA perfectly with it...

You and your family will love it... Let me know if you need any help!

I know you all are waiting on updates, but I literally am redesigning everything..... Had to go to the traditional mounting location if I'm going to make blind spot detection sensors work....

Almost have the radiuses perfected...

Here's a pic of what it is looking like

The more I do this, the more it looks like oracles lights..... I just finished this .... Pics below...

However I can't keep it this way because of blind spot sensors....

Which is why Oracle designed theirs the way they did with the more confined reverse area.....

I have a few new ideas for the design... About to get started on it now.

Don't mind the back word gladiator word lol.

Also the lens were not finalized , not bent correctly , not measured perfectly.... this was all a quick mock up of the new base design. But now that will all be changing again....
