I fail to understand how it's any different on the 3.6 from almost any other engine......... didn't need to watch the video........ may later but really, 13 minutes?Paging anyone who has experience w/ the valvetrain on our engines. Would this work long term? Negatives?

Why would the 3.6 be different? (especially since they come factory with a high volume pump)
And the 2nd gen oil filter drains back when you pull it apart, not when you shut the engine off if I understand their oil system documentation correctly.

Per the manufacturer, the filter housing and cooler completely drain back in about 35 minutes.I fail to understand how it's any different on the 3.6 from almost any other engine......... didn't need to watch the video........ may later but really, 13 minutes?

Have you seen this product before? Do you know someone or a customer who has installed it? Are you saying the check valve is no good?No advantage to be gained in my professional opinion (I have repaired hundreds of 3.6 Pentastar engines over the past twelve years). No oil filter drain back valve is completely effective, all will allow some drain back. In addition, the Pentastar oil pump has a very high volume and produces plenty of pressure, even at hot startup and idle.
Beyond the stated benefits, having that adapter locked into the housing permanently, and moving the service to the traditional spin on is very appealing to me. I've already bookmarked two or three aluminum assemblies for if/when the plastic takes the dump.Paging anyone who has experience w/ the valvetrain on our engines. Would this work long term? Negatives?
