All the Gladiator's competition is bringing out new models, while Jeep sits back on its laurels. Who could be surprised sales are lagging?
Same could be said of the Wrangler also but they still stick to a 10+ year model cycle. Gladiator is not going to morph until the Wrangler does.

Have you seen any of the big 3 us dealers lots lately? Chevy, Ford, and Dodge can't sell trucks right now. Lots are overflowing, but the dealers aren't making any attempt to lower prices to sell. I suspect they are holding inventory so they have stuff to sell during the long strike everyone sees coming.

Besides, Chevy CEO actually stated they are willing to cut production before they are willing to lower prices! They like crazy big profits.

Very few companies and individuals don't like "crazy big profits".

I would never buy another gladiator again. I have more problems with this truck than any other vehicle i owned in 30 years and it also has less than 10,000 miles on it.

As I wait to pull the trigger on one, I'm also wondering if I should just buy a performance luxury SUV and get an old Jeep for playing.
I traded a BMW X5 M/// for my Gladiator. While I miss the HP, I do not miss the lack of useable space, worrying about the interior leather being scratched or greased up by kid or dog, worrying about door dings, ridiculous maintenance expenses, iffy customer service from the dealer, and so on. While I keep the Gladiator well cared for it’s just better suited for real living and far more durable / resilient than the BMW. I also like that it has personality over a traditional pickup like a Tacoma, Silverado, etc.

I always find posts like this interesting - people pointing out sales drops, failures, price troubles and all of the related. It almost seems to me as if it's a hidden psychological desire to see the Gladiator fail.
Constant posting of "sales dropping" "dealer lots filled with Gladiators", JT not selling, didn't meet sales expectations, new competition will make it tough on the Gladiator, etc. etc. etc.

Is there some hidden desire? Why all of the post about negatives, even when there's actually something positive behind some of the numbers, people point out the negative.

And why do people keep looking for such things in the blogs - which are out there just for clicks and seldom have any real good solid information........ generally all speculation on their parts, too.

Am I wrong? What's up with the dozens of posts claiming the JT is failing and sales are lagging?

Everything is all speculation anyway -I see no masters in economics, no marketing managers from a major automotive company, no executives from research companies, that sort of thing.

Must be a regional thing. I need to get you photos of the local Chevy and Ford lots. They are only about 1/4 full. They can't keep vehicles in.
Lots overflowing? Sorry, it's the exact opposite here!
They arrange vehicles in a certain way to make them look more full here. Even my local Jeep sales guy said they've moved some used vehicles in amongst the new, just to make it look like they are well stocked.

I'm also seeing more Gladiators in the last few months than I've ever seen before. Even my wife commented - we're seeing a lot more of them, now we see them each time we get to town. A year ago you were lucky to see one or two at all. Now almost every trip we see at least 3 (which is amazing, really, this is full-size work truck country here)

I would never buy another gladiator again. I have more problems with this truck than any other vehicle i owned in 30 years and it also has less than 10,000 miles on it.
I'm on my second one. Nothing major at all. First one went 27,000 miles before I traded it. The worst that happened was the steering gear thing (it was a 2020)
My 2022 had a weird misfire that was easily resolved with a CCDIFF learn being forced. Otherwise, leaky front shocks (big deal - original shocks are often wimpy and shoddy in other makes and models as well).
It's a solid truck I'd trust to take anywhere.
I can't even seem to find any leaks on it.

Lots of other good options out there if you’re looking to trade in!

I think it’s the same mentality of people are more likely to post negative reviews of anything versus any type of positive review.

Once the election campaigns roll around I’m sure interest rates of most things will come down and sales will go up/normalize a bit.

During the current model run, Wrangler introduced 4xe, 392, XR as well as several other packages. Gladiator has… nada. No Wait: they brought the orange color back. Woohoo.

4xe was more out of necessity - had to introduce hybrids. It's a whole different reason and ball game there. I'd not count it as "introduced".
You get the 4xe Pacifica, Grand Cherokee................ etc.
The 4xe was more of a "we gotta do this to stay relevant in the current atmosphere" thing.
It's like other things - computers - competition says "we're introducing xyz next month" and you have to make sure you bring it out the week before - or you lose.
