just wanted to make sure it wasn't an US VW model that is not available in Germany, I honestly do not really understand what place the Amarok can take in the US. There are so many vehicle I would prefere if we lived state side. Also if I had chosen a vehicle by the old gas prices... some v8 for sure
I really enjoy the 3.0 tdi… we had an a7 for awhile and loved that motor…..No problem
It is a good pickup for peeps here (drives like any car), and the new one is based on the new ranger and has finally a low range, so that I can see being a fun vehicle internationally. For anyone that is an offload enthusiast ... there are better options, and at that price.

That’s one fugly ass bumper.Somehow I stumbled across the Euro spec Gladiator and man is it a weird but pretty cool package. Looks like it is an Overland, but comes with the Mojave hood. O ya, and its only offered in the the EcoDiesel engine, but comes with Selec-Trac.
Honestly, one of the reasons I am not currently considering the EcoDiesel option is because you can't option it and Selec-Trac. I figured it was engine torque problem, but if its on offer in Europe, then what the hell again??
I have those mirrors, they come on the high altitude, but it pisses me off that there are no lights on the US version
