Update: after two more visits to my dealer, they updated my software in June 2023 with a December 2022 update that addresses P0300. Fast forward to August while traveling through Canada, my CEL went crazy and engine started running super rough. Had to leave my Gladiator at the dealer in Canada. They determined an O2 sensor was contaminated with oil, likely from previous head work on cams and lifters. Fortunately, they covered the work under warranty. Jeep's running OK now, but seriously concerned there's something wrong with the engine causing oil migration to the exhaust and O2 sensor. I'm highly doubtful head work 8 months ago would lead to an O2 oil contamination issue now unless there's head gasket issues or other internal engine damage. ?
External oil leaks in some cases contaminate the sensor and cause erroneous voltage readings from the O2 sensor.
If it's the right side.............

Damn, AI suffix revision. That is like 9 attempts of them trying to get the part right.

Like doctors, they are only practicing.... (don't get me going on doctors)
Maybe let Edelbrock make some nice valve covers for them.

Okay, CEL came on today (not flashing) exact same scenario as the 3 previous times. Vehicle was driven and completely warmed up when we came home. 20 minutes later the wife takes it to run an errand and the light comes on. She brings it home and I take it out to see how it’s running (CEL is still lit) Vehicle is running fine as always. I’ll take it in tomorrow and let them check the code, I’m sure it’s the P0300. I’ll let them run the update that Shadowspapa shrare.

Correction, the Jeep only sat around 10 minutes, not 20, before she took it to run errands. CEL came on at that time.

Still likely long enough - the one stop we made at a rest area on our FL trip wasn't all that long - restroom break, grab a drink from the cooler, hop in and go - oops - ding ding ding, CEL light flashed, goes out, smooths out, all is fine. I bet that stop was only 10 to 15 minutes. The longest for us was the time we were in church - 45 minutes. Otherwise, most were shorter stops.
I was only sitting in line at the dealership waiting to get in when they opened the doors at 7am for a few minutes - bet I wasn't there over 10 or 15 minutes and as luck would have it, it happened when I restarted to drive it in after sitting in line. I was never so happy to see a vehicle act badly as at that moment.

What happened to the 3rd time charm thing? Just a myth in the automotive world?

I read the hot restart misfire pdf, I’m not a mechanic, so what did they do? Is it a software update? I’m asking because I’m printing out that pdf to show the dealer tomorrow. your situation is exactly like mine.

In my case, the TSB wasn't yet released. There were dealer communications that were asking for information, apparently to see if incoming problems matched the pattern they were looking at. It was suggested if the pattern matched, they should force a CCDIFF (cam/crank difference)
The TSB is more specific, if it matches, do xyz.

Go ahead and show them this -

The Check engine light was a flash update. They're now checking on my flashing rear differential lock light.

Bet that "flash" is intended to make sure it does a CCDIFF learn. They plug in, give it instructions, done.

When I dropped it off he brought up the star report on his computer, they already had another Gladiator in there last week with the same exact issue. Did you say that you noticed a difference in the way yours ran afterwards?

Other than total lack of misfire at any temperature, no. In my case it was pre-TSB and they simply did a force relearn of CCDIFF.
Maybe if it's done via a flash of some sort, it does other resets.
In any case, here's hoping your JT is now as great as most of them are.
