Should've posted last week after the install, but swapped out the factory sway bar for a '23 Rubicon disconnect unit, minus the motor. Manual knob to be delivered today. That'll give back about 20 minutes at the start of the trail and that much at the end of the trail as I don't have to manually disconnect the links each time.

Also, a thank you to @WILDHOBO for the grab handles. Made my wife's week, month, year, less effort to climb into my JT.

Any time! They were collecting dust, but not the good trail dust. The useless garage dust. :)

I finished the rear today, meaning added 1/2” spacers to match those that went into the front with the bump stop project yesterday. Kind of a pain, but not horrible. Was able to get them dropped enough with sway bar, shocks, vent tube, and calipers disconnected/off. But just barely. Had to use a bottle jack between the axle and bump stop tubes to get it down far enough. Getting the sumo springs back into the bump stop tubes was, a thing. They wouldn’t go in with the weight of the truck on the bump stops with 4” of wood on the bump pad. So I improvised, and they popped in by hand with a better tool. :) the last picture is the best one I can get of the front hydraulic stops installed. The dual rate spring coils block the view at normal ride height.

How much does a complete set up like that cost you? Curious as to why you would run that way instead of just something like the Apex Autolynx unless it’s significantly cheaper.
I have the same set-up. Got a used Rubicon E-Disco off Craiglist and the manual knob from EVO Manufacturing.

It cost more than Autolynx but it gets a lot cheaper if can find a non functioning E-Disco. Even cheaper if you get one off a JK.

Craig's List Wrangler JL Rubi E-Disco = $450
eBay EVO NoLimits Manual Disconnect = $125

Pretty good day, gave the guys a extra day off this week. I got to play in the shop with no one around to bug me. Been trying to find time to fab up bumper end caps from when I chopped my bumper. Installed apex flip kit, finally installed my new exhaust after breaking 2 mounts and bending the exhaust. Started ti install rear rock jock anti swaybar.

I paid $200 for the unit without the motor. It was a steal, couldn't pass it up. The $25 knob showed up this morning, so I installed it, tested and it works as intended.

NICE!!!

Is the manual knob made by EVO?
It's one off eBay for $25. About $110 cheaper than EVO. Thought I would try my luck with a low cost unit, and it's a solid unit, all aluminum. I just added anti seize to the threads to make sure it won't have issues down the road. .

They are definitely a quality item and super awesome, make hitting bumps hard nice and soft.

However - if you dont want to go through the expense of those, and cutting things to make permanent modifications, I might suggest looking at teraflex progressive bump stops. They're pretty cheap, and are a good middle of the road option between stock bump stops and full on racing bump stops. I have them on my JT, have hit them quite a bit, and they feel pretty darn soft and cushy.

Here is a link - its worth considering before going full crazy with an active system https://www.northridge4x4.com/part/...raflex-progressive-bump-stop-kit-0-4-5in-lift
Metal Cloak offers these as well. Very nice product. On sale as well right now.
