Justin B. McBride let out publicly how some influencer campaigns basically work. Some of these vehicles are glorified loaners or promotional leases (for lack of a better term). Not everyone buys their own rig (first rule of business - use OPM)Brad is doing alright financially, but like most automotive related Youtubers, those vehicles are tax deductible expenses absorbing a good chunk of the outlay cost.
Manufacturers will literally give someone a vehicle if the promotional is worth it. I know years ago a 3rd-place Japanese mfg dropped a few vehicles to a small software company in Redmond, WA for the start of technology integration in our vehicles that we can't live without today. Well, we could, we just don't want to.
I'm trying to remember the #s off-hand, but it's something like $3-5 per 1,000 views on average. Some make almost $30 per 1,000 views.
Roughly $2500-$7500 per video, based on published numbers a couple years ago.
Then you can add in the money/products from in-video product placement. I'm pretty sure Brad didn't own one of the Patriot trailers, since it always had Texas tags and not CA.
