Following up on this ?? I installed it today and it's actually really nice. The whole thing seems silly as hell, and I definitely paid like $25 for a product that should be $9.99 (thanks blue team) but it's surprisingly nice. It snaps on to the turn stalk with clips and has a 2.5mm hex fastener. Doesn't rotate at all, has a firm grip to the stalk.

It's definitely the kind of thing that I'd roll my eyes at like okay dork, you don't have to reach your finger as far, oooh your life is so hard but now that it's there and I used it I'm really happy with it.

These the things I use my Amazon rewards points for because I couldn't justify spending money on it (coping lol)
See!! Told you! I love mine.

The jury’s still out on whether or not they’re useless… but I’m going to say decals. I’m not talking about just the hood or a body line stripe, but when each body panel on the Jeep has a OEM grade 3M vinyl decal on it.

Most Jeep owners I know think the Rubicon/Willy’s hood decals aren’t enough and get matching OEM decals to plaster on the bedside, tailgate, front windshield, etc.

I saw a Sahara JLU in Dallas that had Sahara decals for each door, three on the hood, one for both the front and back windshield, and tire cover with—you guessed it—“Sahara” plastered on it

This should be called the hater thread. The great thing about Jeeps is that they are all the same and all different at the same time. You can customize every damn nut and bolt.

It does nothing for the community to hate on them
You have every mod listed in the thread thus far, don’t you?

They HAVE gone up!! WAAAY up. $595 now. Unbelievable. My Rubicon came with one. Only someone on the lot snagged it before I took possession. You can bet I called the sales manager on THAT. If I had to pay $595 for it, I was sure as hell gonna GET it. But for me it's completely worthless. They could have used that space for storage of something useful. Ummmmm...maybe like a battery charger!
I keep water bottles where that thing would be parked on my JTR.

Wow, as if there wasn't enough protruding parts to wax around!

I should have had these on two different JKU's before I dented cowls when removing doors... but doubtful I would not have bought them preemptively. Not many of us would admit we'll eventually have a mental slip resulting in that dent.

I don't think our JT's or JL's are as prone to this infamous dent.

Side Note: These could allow you to strap your doors open while driving. I would never do it, but someone probably will. I'd love to see how half doors look while strapped open to these bars.
