I have tried searching but from what I have found it seems like iDash is NOT capable of initiating forced regen on Gladiators?

Yet I found the procedure for forced regen on Bank's manual.

So those who have this, were you able to initiate the forced regen with iDash?

I haven't found anything on being able to force a regen with the iDash.

What you posted is something I haven't seen yet. When I get back home from Cancun. I have to look at that.

I've looked into this too. Banks doesn't allow regen from what I've seen. I plan to use idash as my monitor and then force regen by Alfaobd if the need arises.

So the video above, this doesn’t work on the Jeep?? Or?

Can/does the iDash need to be updated every now and then- as in is this a new feature?

Those videos are for the HD Duramax which historically allows manual regen with idash.

I don't have the idash yet. We need a 3rd gen Ecodiesel owner with idash to confirm. Functionality is not the same for every vehicle, but you would think Banks would let us get to it since it is an option for the vehicle.

The main part of this is you are plugging in an idash to the odb port and not bypassing the security module to gain access to vehicle functions. It's just a reader until you add the Derringer or Pedal Monster. There are other solutions on the market that require a bypass such as the Tazer, JTScan, Alfaobd etc. I have to wonder what would happen if the idash is plugged in with the bypass cable. Maybe the manual regen will be there?

Found this.

https://docs.bankspower.com/bids/files/PID_2020_Jeep_Wrangler_3_DOT_0L_V_143_E.html

Btw that parameter list is for the This iDash.

My conundrum is if there is a particular version of iDash that is capable of forced regen, I would like to get one.

Seems like there is a bidirectional scanner that does not require security bypass to initiate stationary regen around $150 bucks. I already have AlfaOBD but seems like if I can have a standalone unit that requires a few less clicks, it may be worth it to me.

Does not look to be an option on mine. I have the iDash Datamonster and went through the diagnostic settings, no forced regen mode to be found.

Thanks for checking.

Ordered the iDash anyway With their mount for the Gladiators. Being able to see the live date plus DPF monitoring is worth the hassle.

Seems like if you leave the items in the cart in Bank's web store for a day or two (I am a registered in their webstore with prior purchases), they send you 10 percent off email. The webstore also did not charge sales tax 10.25 percent so that is close to 20 percent off for me.
