Question for the Sport Gang

What do you use these for? The bottom is fine for a phone, but that oddly shaped top rectangle……. What do you do with it?

I wasn’t aware you could option the sport with power windows. I though you had to upgrade to the sport s for that.

Local lot had a Sport with the 35” Nitto’s and leveling kit that caught my eye, and the price wasn’t out of my range… until I realized it was an 80’s kinda vehicle with no power anything. ?

so I picked out the Sport S and had them dress it out like the other one, and also added the Mopar lift… yeah, price went out the window! But I gotta have those power features!

Chapstick and a power cable wrapped up sits in there at the moment. Thought about putting a custom switch bank in there. But it's always just gathered random small items and loose change.

If you wear glasses, single use optics cleaning towelettes fit in there pretty well. If you have a 3D printer, you can print a little mascot to put in there. Or just an extra duck maybe. I have the same cubby (wanted manual windows specifically) and ha a little 3D printed Buddha in there. I’m not religious, but we watch a lot of travel/driving shows and many places in the world decorate their trucks for spiritual protection, so the idea was born from that.

Ha only power thing I miss is the proximity lock. Realized that I didn't miss the rest.

maybe should see how cheap you can buy the 'four switches' for the power windows... make yourself a little cubby hole for cash/credit cards... especially useful when you have the doors off... (no one will know that the switches are bogus-switches.....) Also, when you have the doors off... you can smile knowing that you have 4"x 4" of extra real-estate compared with anyone that paid for the power windows and has their doors off...........

alternatively, buy a flip phone

LOL I feel like that's a shot from the engineers, they should have at least put a cover on instead of that insultingly small cubby.

That seller also sells just the blank plate to cover it, that's where I had the idea for installing metal toggle switches for a custom switch bank. But ended up planning on just using some voswitch setup instead. Still sounds like a cool idea though, useful idk... Hell get the plate and devise a way to make a mini safe
