The loss of ride quality is subjective. I still love the way mine rides with weight of the RTT and steel bumper and winch. Its a game of balance. 3/4 spacer lift all the way around, 37s, keep the weight 60 rear - 40 front bias. Overlands great fully loaded. rides like a sport, which is fine. Also idk why they said it can't flex as much, it can without the sway bar hooked up. but i recommend leaving it on. tbh tho it really shines as the solo nomad rig. No RTT, just spare gas cans, hammock, tarp, recovery gear, food water. Even when fully loaded every single one of the guys in my wheeling group love the way it drives and handles. I like it because its a predialed setup you can learn from. stiff frame, so add a V8. Fox shocks and soft coils, so pair coils to deal with V8 motor weight and camping gear and have accutune build you some FOX 2.5 race series to match. Boom, overland Mojave that still drives better than any other Jeep out there. Sure it ain't cheap, but then again is any Jeep build? This podcast is what got me thinking of getting rid of my Mojave for a Rubicon. I want to lift it and build it out for overlanding.
