I haven't really watched his stuff until in the past year until recently and only casually. But yes, you do not want to be the guy that tests the limits of a Good Sam law.He has also gone into detail that he is not a currently-licensed medical professional. Actually using that equipment could get him into a world of hairy legal trouble, which I'm certain he understands better than us. Good Samaritan laws only go so far. Even he says "a practical expedition vehicle with a focus of bringing awareness to the importance of first aid off the grid." Not DOING first aid off the grid
Personally I hope his videos aren't going to become filled with the fake simulated injuries with rubber snakes he's done so far, totally cringey. I know it's hard to make a living doing these videos, and I hope he's able to continue. But so far this series is kinda![]()
I kinda like his videos. He gets pretty caught up in product placement, but his photography is really good and I like that he is always coming up with new ideas. I really like the first aid truck idea. But that exhaust is a joke. I love the creativity, but some things do get silly. Overall, I like some of the things he's done with the build. But that's the great thing about Jeeps. You make it your own.Has anyone really been a fan of his stuff? I feel like he talks too much.. then again I hate watching any tutorial or click baity title where someone feels they need to explain for 7 minutes what they are doing and what qualifies them to do it... I usually don't care and just want to see a Jeep doing to Jeep stuff. That's why I love me some TrailMater... they're slowly becoming more popular to me than MORR.
I'd buy that JK off of him though.I kinda like his videos. He gets pretty caught up in product placement, but his photography is really good and I like that he is always coming up with new ideas. His channel 4 to 5 years ago was totally different. He was still in the Navy and his mods was out of his pocket and the mods were mainly done by him or members of the local Jeep club he was in. He was relatable and the content more respectable.Has anyone really been a fan of his stuff? Ex- USMC medic ? I hope you mean Navy CorpsmanThis was posted not too long ago and some of the comments were about the heat from it. I watched the video and apparently there is little to no heat due to the heat dispenser that surrounds it. Another critique was it'll get ripped off in a second. The video shows that the fenders stick out way farther then the exhaust. The creator is ex USMC medic so is building a 'trail aid station' to teach/encourage first aid knowledge and is adding some little touches from his humvee days. Not my cup of tea but at least it was well thought out and with purpose.
If that’s the proper terminology then yes. I was never been in military so don’t know.Ex- USMC medic ? I hope you mean Navy Corpsman
Don't worry, it's understandable. He supported the "MENS" department of the Navy most of his career. There is much joking around between and with the branches of service that non service people don’t understand too. Let alone the interworkings of the military. If that’s the proper terminology then yes. I was never been in military so don’t know.
Hey now........I got one of those disks. I use it as a wok. Great for cooking. I got it from my youngest son in NM. He has a small ranch there.I watched a few of his videos early on quickly decided he's a shill to sell stuff and click bait bs. Though he seems to be a good guy. But the you got to have this "new" thing that's just came along crap sent me away. I do spend a good amount of time watching stuff online and reading stuff, but most of my camping gear is 20-30 years old and still working fine. One of the silliest things is the "Scottel" to cook on /with its a dang disk being heated up with a propane burner that's as big as a tire. Give the farmers back their disk for the field.
It's all good... I didn't mean to come off harsh. If that’s the proper terminology then yes. I was never been in military so don’t know.
I'm sure this sounds silly - but got that by watching NCIS.Since the Marines have no medical care of their own, they go to a Naval Hospital when they need any type of care.
Gotcha, thanks for the information. I always appreciate learning something new. Interesting Marines don’t have their own medical. It's all good... I didn't mean to come off harsh.
The Navy and Army have medics, Marines do not. So Navy "Corpsmen" get assigned to some Marine units. Since the Marines have no medical care of their own, they go to a Naval Hospital when they need any type of care. 🫡
