Rotated front door harness 360 degrees to keep it from rubbing my leg. Bugged me even more after I installed my dead pedal. Much better now.

Installed some protection.
1. Rusty's rear control arm mount skids.
2. Rock Hard front control arm mount skids. (Still not sure why the refer to them as Front Upper/Frame Side Control Arm Skid Plates. They are for the lower control arm mount).
3. Front and rear diff skids. (Rancho for the rear and Ebay knockoff for the front).

Headed to Windrock for some wheeling June 24-25 after a weekend at Road Atlanta.

Initial impressions of the tires?

Lifted?
Yes, I'm on a 2.5" AEV lift.

Like them so far, only have maybe 50 miles on them, quieter than the Toyo's defiantly. Now I just notice the wind noise more but LOL still quieter. This is scientifically measured by the radio on volume 8 vs volume 10.

Track well, ride nice so far.

Seem true to size measured 34.25" on a 7.5" rim, exactly .5" lift over the 34" Toyo's.

Finished installing my Quadratec transfer case skid.

For the back story on this.
@mx5red gave me this transfer case skid so I bought the Oil pan and Transmission skid to compliment it. When I went to install I spun one of the weld nuts in the frame and didn’t want to tear into it until I was ready to do the upgrade complete. In the meantime I kept the factory skid in place to have some protection.
After trying several options I ended up cutting the head off of the bolt, pushing the weldnut through, and replacing it with a serrated flange locknut.

This worked perfectly and grabbed right onto the frame without slipping.
Problem solved, skid plate in place, ready for the next BOH run in two weeks.

AT’s
I just put the same tires in the RT version.
From my research I found that the AT is a better overall tire by about 10% but with the RT being better rated in the Offroad rating which is what I have my Gladiator for more than anything. So far they are working great and the road feel is pretty close to the AT.

A few months ago some wonderful citizen tagged me in my office parking lot. It's a multi business parking lot and I'm sure it wasn't a co-worker.

Anyway, I had been waiting for a good reason and justification to change it.

I had been searching for a Mopar take-off for months and then a good deal finally arrived. It's not often you see these (used for a reasonable price) pop-up in my area. It was new off of a Wrangler 392. It came with full bumper (end caps), skid plate and the plastic fill strip (it's a different strip than the one with the plastic bumper).

I have a free but damaged plastic Rubicon bumper if anyone in S. Ontario needs some parts.
I took and re-used the red hooks and fogs for my new bumper.
I'm also selling the Gold 392 tow hooks and the Rubicon Steel skid plate for Plastic bumper.

Sorry for your trouble but it looks like it worked out for you,,,,kind of. I won't be as lucky. Was driving back home from a weeks vacation the other day when out of nowhere a chrome rod came flying up off the highway in front of me at 75 mph. Saw it a split second before impact. Heard it hit and felt the impact in the steering wheel as well. When I stopped for gas this is what I saw. I was like DAMN. Only 7K miles and this. Now I'm trying to figure what I want to do. Just my luck.

Just think if you'd been in a sedan or a lower pickup.
