We do this all the time with our rock buggy. Tom Woods, $60! Best if you save your boxes for future use. I ship mine USPS.
Yes to this!! I will save them from now on.

I got into some BIG rocks last weekend over at Uwharrie NC. It tweaked the rear drive shaft and now it vibrates worse than it did before. Adams said they will re-tube it and cover the labor but I will pay for shipping and the tube. Anyone ever ship a drive shaft across country? It's gotta go from TN to Vegas. I don't know if I should try to box it or just slap a label on it and get it insured and call it good. It is dented and the weld is really ground off so its a matter of time until it fails completely. Glad I kept the OEM one in the shop.

I bought front and rear Adams drivelines for my JK with an LS3 engine conversion. Both drivelines vibrated badly. Adams told me they were installed wrong but the shop I used specialized in off road vehicles and such work. I had the drivelines rebalanced by another shop and they were out of balance from the factory. One was worse than the other. I will never buy another Adams product. They acted like I was the problem. Throw the driveline away and get one from another shop. I realize yours was damaged due to your use but I would never use their products. Their claim that the drivelines are unbreakable is crap.

Agree!! Very unimpressed. Do you still run them or did you move on to a different brand?

Yes all the weights are still intact. The larger weight on the slip yoke has a chunk ground off it. It's a tough shaft for sure but with a spiraled dent it will eventually break. Before the damage, It's not a bad vibration but it's there. It's always had a slight vibration. It improved when I adjusted the pinion angle but never went away. I have the stock shaft back on now and it's smooth as silk.

i had a vibration on mine it was pretty noticeable after 55mph. my pinion seal was leaking and removed driveline. When we reinstalling it i noticed the u-joint caps wanted to slide off when clamping them. took the time to make sure they were seated properly and 98% of the vibration went away. i could see a lot of people not paying full attention to this as it was over looked by me as well. just a small detail i caught.

My son now owns the JK. We finally got the drivelines to balance and had no more problems with them but I'm done with Adams. Their attitude about the issue was terrible. I didn't waste the money to send the drivelines back to them after that. I got a local shop to rebalance them, and they were okay with no problems. One required a second rebalance because it was so far out. I wont do business with any company whose first words are that we installed it wrong. That is pure arrogance on their part. Plenty of good company's out there to use, I don't need Adams.

Good idea and I can ask. I've even contacted one of the local off road shops in Nashville to ask who they use for shaft service. They don't have one. You would think Nashville would have a reputable shop. I'll see if UPS has a box.
There is a Fleet Pride in Nashville and also in Murfreesboro.

I've used their location in Toledo, OH for driveshaft work a few times. No problems.

Thanks. I'll check them out too. I'm not even sure if I'm putting it back in at this point. May just do what @WILDHOBO did and go back with the Dana upgrade shaft. They think alot of it though, $1820.

Thats nuts you can get both frt and rear KOH spec shafts from JE Reel or Tom Woods for less.

They’re way more expensive than they used to be. I bought mine for 1k I think. Yes, that’s still expensive, but it takes a hell if a beating and doesn’t vibrate at 80mph.
