So my JTRD turns 3 years old and just about hit 30,000 miles. It is officially out of warranty and it is time to mod this thing.

Need help with suggestions on a budget (I don't mind spending for the right part)

I am not going to off road this thing (I know.... I know) I just want it to look cool.

some of the items I am looking at:

small lift

37 inch or bigger tires

snorkel

new screen to replace the 2 inch one I ordered.

some custom decals/wrap (I live in South FL if anyone knows of a good company down here)

Thanks and feel free to suggest anything else I should do. Been thinking of putting new seat covers over the OEM cloth ones.

Isn't the powertrain warranty 5yr/60k miles?
isn't this forum supposed to encourage bad behavior? lol JK you may be right. maybe 36k is like a limited warranty or I made that up in my head from seeing so many commercials. I feel like I received an email about this at some point.

OK so quick google search says we are both right. since I don't plan on doing engine mods anytime soon I think my request is still valid and would not void the powertrain warranty. LFG!

3 yr/36,000 mi basic, 5 yr/100,000 mi powertrain

No, you're not making it up, the 3/36 is the bumper-to-bumper. Just wanted to mention the powertrain one is longer so you don't go messing with that stuff if you still want to keep it.

Gotcha. yeah it's been great so far. 0 issues and with the price of cars getting out of hand and rates getting stupid high, I think it's a good idea to keep my truck.

I would prioritize a quality lift first and foremost. The stock ruby suspension sucks.
Don't cheap out on shocks.

Delete it with a race tune and bigger turbo. This way when you come up on runners or bicyclist or cruising the bikini-clad spring breakers, you can black smoke the fuck out of them.

JK, don't do that.

Like others said your power train is 100k/5yr. Legally speaking they have to prove those mods affected the component that failed. It will totally depend on the dealer and how far they want push back. Some are chill otherwise will blame your paint. 🤣

Purchase the maxcare extended warranty.........fast..........
These posts always scare me but after 3 years with 0 issues I don't see a reason to get extended warranty especially with the 100k powertrain warranty still in play. If this truck was as bad as some people say then I would just sell it and move on.

5/100 drivetrain ... I'm at 88k and still covered.. careful with lift and tires. Douche dealers are known to reject any warranty for that reason. Also most extended warranties will void as well.. But it might not matter since I personally can't get any of them to actually work on it without keeping it for weeks to sit in their lot, and still not address the issues I have.

Since it looks like no one wants to actually answer your question I’ll take a stab at it.
For cruising around town on 37’s it’s hard to beat a spacer lift from an economic standpoint. There are several good ones to choose from as it’s not that complicated.
Tires tend to be personal preference but for you intended use probably stick with the AT tire of your choosing for better on road manners unless you just like the look of MT and are willing to endure their on road performance.
I can’t comment on snorkels as I don’t have any experience in that arena.
Which screen are you looking to replace?
Wraps and decals are an endless array of options really only bound by your imagination and wallet.
Other things to consider for your intended use: a lot of people like pedal monster which won’t impact your warranty and a tazer is super common as well. Options for things like bumpers, winches and aux lights are nearly endless and they look cool but functionally you don’t need them so up to you how far you want to take it.
