I'm in Littleton too and I used to do all my work at CORE Offroad before they went out of business.
I'm hearing good things about EDGE in Englewood. High Country is also supposed to be good, but they are more expensive. Have fun with your build!

Thanks. Edge is who I've been talking to.

While I gotta say theres other lift brands worth considering, 8/10 hrs is usually the labor time for a bolt on complete lift plus driveshaft plus alignment

I'm looking to get my 23 Diesel Willys lifted sometime before next summer. I'm interested in the Clayton 2.5" ride right, , Bilstein 5100s, new front driveshaft and bumpstops Talking to a local shop, they're quoting me $1700-2000 for labor and alignment. This seems pretty excessive since the lift itself is supposed to be a 5 hour job. Thoughts? It appears they want $200-300 an hour for labor
Back in April 2024 I paid $925 for installation of the Clayton's 2.5 overland plus and new Fox shocks with alignment. This was for my 22 JTR, on the Mississippi gulf coast

Thanks. Edge is who I've been talking to.

FYI, My first quote from Edge was 5k but included shock extensions only even though I said I wanted shocks included. They wanted another +2k for Fox 2.0 which is when I bailed on them.

They only quoted me labor. I was very specific in saying I wanted the Clayton 2.5 Ride Right for the diesel, extended bumpstops, Bilstein 5100s and a front driveshaft. They had all they needed for a full quote but never gave it to me. I don't know what kind of markup they would ask for on the parts.

That’s truly insane.

Sounds right to me. I went Johns 4x4 in Boulder and I paid 3k for labor for my 3in Dobinson lift, with MetalCloak front and rear control arms and track bars and MetalCloak/Fox steering stablizer, parts were 6k.

That does sound high. $1700 for 5 hours comes out to $340 an hr.
My 3.5" Metalcloak GameChanger labor install was 11hrs and cost $1320.
I'm getting the 3.5" Metalcloak GameChanger installed right now and it's $1500 for 10 hours labor. In Dallas-Fort Worth metro area.
